The Social Hub Madrid

"I loved staying at The Social Hub, great facilities, rooms and breakfast plus the location was perfect. The design of the hotel is really nice, I would have preferred two separate beds but I knew they only had (very) large doubles before booking. It has everything you need and the price is very good. The staff were very helpful, friendly and give you a personal service - even remembering my room number when I went down for breakfast. Very good location and transport links, I would 100% stay here again."

"My husband & I stayed here for 5 nights in September. First time in Madrid. What a beautiful city. Very walkable or we used the metro which was so easy to use. Hotel is in a great location opposite the Royal Palace and huge Palace gardens. So peaceful in the gardens, you forget you're in the middle of a busy city. Really nice vibe in the hotel and staff friendly. Loved having a drink on the roof top after a busy day's sightseeing. We were in an apartment on the ground floor with a lovely chill out area in the centre. Lovely space to have a coffee in the morning. Our only complaint was that the food was a bit pricey. Breakfast E17.50 each! Yes there was a huge choice but we found it to be of poor quality and not very well stocked. Having said that we would definitely return."

"The whole concept of The Social Hub was new to us. The 300+ rooms bring together a mixture of tourists (50%), university students (45%) and young professionals living in long term lets (5%) in a thriving setting centred around multiple shared work spaces and meeting rooms. In addition there's a downstairs gym, an enclosed quadrangle housing exercise classes and a small rooftop swimming/plunge pool with rooftop bar. The building is only three years old and so everything was brand new and fresh and was clearly being well looked after by residents and staff alike. The bedrooms were modern and minimalistic in terms of decoration, were very clean and had everything you would need including a large walk-in shower, a mini bar and a large flat screen tv. We didn't expect it, but there was also a housecleaning service every day. Finally, the breakfast was sensational, with a huge range of choices of both hot and cold food. In fact, we agreed that it was probably the best hotel breakfast we'd ever experienced. And even though we had to leave for the airport at 5.30am on our final morning, the staff put together two extremely generous breakfast bags for us to take with us. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and couldn't recommend The Social Hub enough. There are between 15 and 20 hotels in The Social Hub chain in other European cities, all of which are run using the same model in other European cities, so we plan to stay in another one soon."
