"We had already been there and found the hotel under renovation, but we did not feel it; we stayed on the recently finished 4th floor, 402, a fabulous interior room. Excellent breakfast, and the best part, its people, Alicia and everyone, helped us book a taxi, wake up early, and move the taxi time up. We will return"

"The front desk staff was extremely friendly, they gave us a warm welcome and made us feel very comfortable. We did not pay for breakfast since the rate per person seemed very high to us. The room was large and comfortable. Despite being right on the Gran Via, we did not have any noise problems for sleeping. The only detail we did not like is the shower. I don't know what the person who designed the shower was thinking, as it is extremely small and uncomfortable; furthermore, the shower stall is at floor level and has no door, so when showering, all the water gets out and you have to put down several towels to try to contain the water. A disaster! I would give it a 3.5. I would look for another option before returning."
