"I visited the B&B hotel Carabanchel in early October 2025. The hotel was excellent: very good service, nice breakfast, coffee all day, large and modern rooms, clean and quiet. The area around the hotel is also nice, even though on arrival you find yourself between a large cemetery and a few car dealerships; a couple of blocks away, there is a proper small town with local shops and restaurants, and there is also a large shopping mall across the highway. The hotel has parking, and it seems that parking is generally not hard to find in the area, so it is definitely a good option for people coming in with a car. Plus, it is located next to a divided highway, offering easy access from outside Madrid.
If you are not coming with a car, things are trickier. The hotel has bus stops very close, with relatively frequent service, and is rather close to a metro station (Carabanchel Alto on Line 12). When I visited, part of Line 6 was closed, cutting of Line 12 from Madrid. But even Line 6 does not reach the center, so you need another metro change. The alternative is the green suburban buses, which are a bit problematic, as they serve many neighborhoods and get stuck easily in local traffic. To reach the center easily, it would be better to stay somewhere close to a suburban rail station. So do check whether the location works for you; if it does, the hotel is great!"
