"UPDATE: 25/01/2026
Stayed here again for a weekend, this time in room 601. The sewage smell isn't there anymore, and the room functions as intended.
The air-conditioning is turned off due to the winter climate, which was problematic at first because the room was a balmy 24 Celsius when I entered (according to the indicator). But as soon as I turned it off and opened the window, the temperature went down to a perfect 18 Celsius, so I guess it was well-intended.
Shower room is amazing. The shower pressure is incredible and perfect.
All in all, a great stay. Would spend the night here again assuming I don't get room 614.

OLD REVIEW: January 2025
Location is perfect, and the hotel itself is I believe nice. But if you can, AVOID ROOM 614. The room smells like sewage. Fortunately, I can open the door once in a while but the sewage smell will always come back after half an hour or so. During the winter, the air-conditioning is turned off (no air coming out of the air vent, so the air gets stuffy very quickly).
Additionally, service is quite lacklustre. The safe box in the room keeps beeping so I ask the reception whether they can turn it off or if I can change room. Their only response is, "The safe box will only do that if you're trying to use it." I then ask, "Oh so hay fantasmas en mi habitacion? Are ghosts touching this safe box then? I haven't even touched it," to which the receptionist didn't say anything.
On the positive side, following a complain, the staffs did try their best to solve the problem, though apparently they didn’t have the man force to do so. As such, the best they can do is to move me to a room that’s as far as possible from Room 614. The new room was fine, no problem. But it was quite a hassle having to move to a new room after getting settled.
All in all, a disappointing stay with a room that can possibly have weird smell, weird beeping safe box, and possibly... haunted room 614. But at least the staffs tried their best to change the room."
