"The friendly and warm welcome by Carlos and Marta on Reception set the tone for our very enjoyable 3-day stay. The hotel is well located for the airport transfer by Metro and getting around the city and its parks. The varied and plentiful offerings for breakfast, always delivered with a friendly smile, give a good start to the day. Our room was serviced and cleaned daily and reflected the cleanliness of the rest of the hotel areas we saw. We'd recommend staying here, either for pleasure or, like many other guests we encountered, for business"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Avani Alonso Martinez hotel. The location is excellent, next to a Metro interchange and within walking distance of Restaurants and Bars. The location was also very quiet. The rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide range food and drink. The staff are very helpful."

"I spent a considerable amount of money on this hotel — almost €500 for one night — and unfortunately, I really don’t feel it was worth the price. Breakfast was not even included, and there was no regular coffee available in the room, only decaffeinated coffee. When I raised my concerns at reception and asked whether they could offer a better rate, include breakfast, or at least allow me to speak with the manager, I received no real response. I was not expecting them to change the room rate, as I had of course agreed to it when booking. However, given that the hotel and the room simply did not feel worth €460 without breakfast, I would have expected at least some acknowledgement from the manager or a small gesture of goodwill. Instead, the manager never approached me, and I wasn’t even offered a coffee. Nothing at all. The staff at the front desk also seemed more annoyed by my concerns than interested in addressing them. For a hotel charging this level of rates, I would expect a much higher standard of customer service, professionalism and attention to guests"
