Royal Atlantico

"The Royal Atlantico Hotel deserves the Royal title it has the wow factor from the moment you arrive. The attention to detail and the thought that has gone into this place is amazing and to know that this was just someones dream 3 years ago, well they certainly achieved it. The rooms are gorgeous with the added luxury of robes and slippers, the best hairdryer you will ever use too! The restaurant food was spot on and the breakfasts were amazing, especially good value if you add them on to your original booking and lots of choice. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The whole place is pristine and rooms were cleaned every day, lovely thick fluffy towels provided and pool towels too which was a lovely addition. The rooms are beautiful, simplistic and modern, very comfortable beds and pillows like clouds! Even a non steam up mirror in the bathroom. The kitchenette was brilliant to have in a hotel to be able to have drinks & snacks in the room was brilliant. Our room was steps away from the pool and restaurant which was also perfect. The gym was fantastic and i loved having a workout, a fresh clean environment with everything you needed and well thought out. The first time I have ever used a gym on holiday! The hotel is still being completed in areas so was probably a little quieter but we loved this fact, there was no rush for sunbeds as plenty available (also very comfortable) and i would imagine even when busy there would be plenty to go around as they are dotted around the complex with the added bonus of hot tubs which we didn't realise were in use as they were covered. The pool was gorgeous, a lovely temperature and immaculately clean, very inviting and the outdoor Jacuzzi was the perfect place to chill. The outside bar was lovely to go and have an afternoon drink and i'm sure the Sky bar will be a wonderful addition when it opens soon. The Royal Atlantico is set up high over the harbour there are a fair few steps down (and back up! ) but we quite enjoyed the walk and kept our fitness up - There is a handy shop and a handful of bars an restaurants right across the road out of the back of the hotel. It was a real treat and privilege to stay here and we would love to return"

"The location is in the old town and a 10 minute walk to a shopping centre and 5 minutes from shops. There are loads of restaurants but our favourite was Marios and the hotel restaurant elysium. Breakfast has amazing choices. The hotel is so clean and the staff are amazingly friendly. Our apartment for a family of 5 was perfect and the older kids loved the hot tub outside. The swimming pool is beautifully clean with wonderful views and delicious ice cream. I highly recommend this hotel and hope to go back soon. 10/10 stay. The walk to the new town is around 30 mins and the hills are steep but i came back fitter and this walking was balanced with zen relaxation."

"What a lovely time we had at this hotel, we stayed for a week and from the time we arrived and throughout our stay the customer service was exemplary, the hotel and our room was finished to such a high standard, the pool area and restaurant are beautiful, the breakfast was a really good choice and cooked fresh and served to you, the fresh orange was delicious, Monika was so lovely and hard working and ensured we had a lovely free cocktail, also Natalie who looked after our room, such a lovely lady, I would recommend this hotel, especially at the discounted rate at the moment, thank you to all your staff for a lovely stay, we look forward to returning."
