Plaza Palmeras

"The hotel is located up a bit of a steep hill about 300 meters from the main strip. It's has a decent atmosphere around the pool area and the lad who does the entertainment is first class. The rooms are basic and could have done with a bit of fixing up but they are livable but not very comfortable seating area was very tired and beds were so uncomfortable. The rooms probably had a recent white wash but still not great. The food and drink was very good though and there are snacks available through the day from the bar area. They only real downside was that we had to vacate our room at 11 with no availability to use a room to shower before going to the airport. If your on a late fight that's not great. Also checking in was great but checking out was pretty dull as 2 young girls just took the card and said pretty much nothing. Asked if they could order us a taxi and she simply said, Room number ? A thank you for your stay would have nice."

"We booked a day pass here due to a late flight. Omg….please look elsewhere! The sunbeds are stained and black, the pool bar looks extremely tired and dirty. No menus, staff refuse to engage. You pay a deposit for a cup you carry with you. Do yourself a favour and book elsewhere."

"Not a 4 star hotel, reception staff pleasant but not well informed. Bar staff not friendly and find something else to do when you approach the bar. Was there all inclusive and the food was ok at best. Entertainment team is really poor with a guy playing music way too loud. We go to Lanzarote 3 times a year and like to try different places, will definitely not be back here"
