Peaceful apartments close to the beach
The Bitacora Lanzarote Club has all the hallmarks of a traditional island retreat. It’s designed in the style of an authentic Canaries village, with low-rise whitewashed blocks tucked among palms and shrubs. The atmosphere is calm and tranquil, but you’re just a short stroll from family favourite, Playa Grande beach, and a 20-minute walk from the bars, pubs and restaurants of lively Puerto Del Carmen.
A suntrap terrace takes centre-stage in the complex. It’s home to two pools – one just for little ones – and a generous scattering of loungers and umbrellas. If you fancy a break from the sunshine, head inside and book a massage at reception – the hotel has a tranquil room for treatments.
Décor-wise, the apartments are airy and traditional, white whitewashed walls and tiled floors, and flatscreen TVs as standard. They’re ideal for self-catering, and come with kitchenettes, living areas and plenty of space for eating in. There’s a supermarket close to the complex if you need to stock up on arrival. The hotel also has its own snack bar serving a variety of international dishes, or you’ve got a handful of restaurants on the doorstep.
