"We rented from a private owner. The location of the villa was excellent. With easy access to the marina and local shopping. The furniture in our villa was a bit dated and tired. We had a lovely holiday and enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately we found the owner of our villa rather rude, so we will go elsewhere on our next cisit"

"We’ve stayed in these villas in both 2025 and 2026, and have booked to return again in 2027. This says all you need to know. 2025 in no 223 and this year in no 27. Number 27 is a bungalow, which initially (before we arrived) were a little disappointed with. However, the bungalows actually have more outdoor space, which is completely private. This suited us as a family of 4 much better than the duplex offering of number 223, so we preferred this. It made a perfect base. The great thing about these villas is the location. Literally just behind the marina and only a stones throw from a supermarket. Having researched numerous villas, we could not find a better location for the price. The one negative is the derelict bar Soho nearby. This appears to have been inhabited by homeless individuals. Though nothing negative was experienced it did feel a little unnerving. The bridge adjacent to this is also in poor condition, with a lot of litter strewn around. Not the fault of the villa, but worth highlighting nevertheless, and led me to only leave 4 stars. Several previous reviews mention the need for modernisation. Yes, they’re not swanky, but given the price you pay, coupled with location, they’re fantastic. Villas that are modern and in a similar location would easily be £££’s more. People expect too much"
