"This was my first trip to Lanzarote and, on a recommendation from one of my daughters, my friend and I chose the Rubicon. It was just amazing. From the moment we arrived we felt looked after. We'd gone for a 5 night battery recharge, and boy is that what we did. The service was great. The location, perfect. The rooms were spotless, and huge with everything we needed. The restaurants were good too. All were different, but great value. We loved our stay. Thank you to everyone. We had some treatments in the soa too - fabulous. All in all a fabulous place to stay."

"We were celebrating my father’s 90th birthday so at checkin decided to pay an additional €1176 to upgrade 2 rooms to privilege with sea views. The young man at checkin was a disaster, he constantly took phone calls instead of concentrating on the guests in front of him -bad customer service 😞 then logged us all into the wrong rooms so we could not book any of the speciality restaurants. We asked him 3 times was there a sea view from both rooms and was told 3 times that there was. One room was looking at a wall and the other only had a sea view if you turned left on the balcony. We were so upset and frustrated by the terrible checkin and just gutted when we finally got to the room which had no sea view. We were furious and lost most of our first day due to the incompetence at checkin 😡😡😡 I was in the room while my fiancé went back to the hotel desk when the house keeper Rosa Verdejo knocked on the door to ask if everything was ok. I was nearly in tears at this stage and she agreed that the room we had been given was not a sea view room at all. She calmed me down and said she would sort out the problem. She basically changed our room twice to a beautiful sea view room. Without her incredible customer service and problem resolution our special family holiday would have been ruined. She met us many times during our vacation and always checked with us that everything was ok. She was fantastic and I can’t thank Rosa enough. We will be back because of her service. Thank you Rosa job very well done. You are a credit to this company and I really hope highly appreciated. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻"

"Since being here a year ago we noticed a remarkable dip in the standards of the staff who on multiple occasions presented as rude, unhelpful and uninterested in representing the hotel well. This is with the exception of a small number of good members of staff with a notable mention of a manager named Pavol who is one of the few that I would consider professional enough to work within a 5 star hotel. The food is excellent but the staff really brought our experience and the experience of the family we encouraged to come along with us down."
