Or, if you've got fun-loving little ones in tow, the epic Real Adventure area might be right up your alley, with its own range of dining options and exclusive entertainment facilities.
Six pools, each with a different vibe, mean you’ll have plenty of choice when it comes to finding your ideal swimming or sunbathing spot. These include pools surrounded by palm trees, and children’s splash pools with water slides and fountains.
While little ones have a blast at Castleland Club – a play zone packed with activities, a games room, a jam-packed entertainment programme and even a pirate ship – you can sneak off to the spa for a massage or unwind in the therapeutic thermal circuit. Feeling energetic? Hit the fully equipped gym, or take a dip in one of the family-friendly pools. Craving some coastline? Head to nearby beaches like Playa Mujeres, Playa del Pozo, and the spectacular Playa de Papagayo, famed for its rugged volcanic backdrop and aquamarine waters.
Food-wise, you’ll be spoiled for choice. Las Coloradas Buffet Restaurant dishes up international favourites from live cooking stations, while La Ricotta Restaurant, serves up delicious à la carte Italian dishes. And for mouthwatering Asian flavours, Oishii Restaurant's the place to be.
Feeling peckish between meals? The Las Coloradas Snack Bar, conveniently located next to the buffet restaurant, is perfect for light bites and drinks. You’ll also find the Princesa Aurora Snack Bar nearby for even more snack options. And when evening rolls around, the Salon Lounge Bar serves up drinks, live entertainment and a lively atmosphere. There’s also a sports bar for keeping up with the footy, and Bar Isla Mágica's open next to the playground in the Real Adventure zone.
Not staying in the Real Adventure zone but still want a taste of the action? Enter the day pass – guests staying in the Castillo Area or in a Gold room can purchase a pass that gets you access to all the good stuff, including the splash park!
