"Avoid this hotel – unacceptable staff behaviour, poor service, and not Deaf-friendly
We recently stayed at this hotel and it has been one of the most disappointing and uncomfortable hotel experiences we have had.
From the moment we checked in, there was a clear lack of communication. It was not explained what was included in the Half Board package compared with All-Inclusive. This is basic information that other hotels provide clearly, allowing guests to understand what they can and cannot do. Here, this was not explained at all, which led directly to confusion and unnecessary confrontations with staff.
The WiFi is extremely poor. It barely works anywhere in the hotel, constantly disconnects, and is essentially unusable. We have had to rely on mobile data for most of our stay, which is unacceptable for a hotel that advertises WiFi as an included service.
Staff behaviour throughout the hotel has been consistently poor. There is a clear lack of professionalism, organisation, and respect towards guests. Rules are enforced inconsistently, what is allowed one day is not allowed the next, leaving guests confused and uncomfortable.
As Deaf guests, we were particularly shocked and upset by how communication was handled. On one occasion, a staff member approached us speaking very loudly, drawing attention from surrounding guests, and then shouted directly into my ear to get my attention. This was extremely distressing, inappropriate, and disrespectful. It was obvious that we are Deaf and communicate in sign language, yet no effort was made to communicate in an accessible or respectful way. This incident was humiliating and left us feeling deeply upset.
Another incident involved the €1 cup deposit. When returning the cup, a staff member initially refused to return the deposit. I challenged this, as we had paid a deposit for the cup. He attempted to call reception, but when there was no answer, he became visibly frustrated, slammed the phone down, and threw the €1 back at me. This behaviour was aggressive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable.
Room cleaning has been inconsistent throughout our stay. Our room was missed multiple times without explanation, and when it was cleaned, it was done to a very low standard. This reflects a lack of care and attention across the hotel.
Across the restaurant, pool areas, and other facilities, staff frequently come across as rude, dismissive, and unwelcoming. There is little to no effort made to provide a positive guest experience, and at times it feels as though guests are an inconvenience rather than valued customers.
The hotel overall feels poorly managed, with a lack of clear communication, inconsistent standards, and very low levels of customer service.
The food quality is also extremely poor. The selection is limited, repetitive, and often inedible. There is very little variety, and meals quickly become something to avoid rather than enjoy.
Overall, this has been a deeply disappointing stay. The combination of poor communication, unacceptable staff behaviour, lack of accessibility awareness, unreliable WiFi, inconsistent housekeeping, and very low food quality has created a consistently negative and uncomfortable experience.
We would strongly advise others to avoid this hotel. We will not be returning."
