Barcelo Lanzarote Active Resort All Inclusive

"First of all like many i looked at all the reviews and booked the first 2 weeks of october and booked royal level with a junior suite. So this review is a mixed bag really. The room excellent, the beds shower room excellent. The food horrendous, let me explain, breakfast cant fault it, the first four days for lunch and dinner everything was cold, until after numerous complaints from holiday makers and the management had to visit to give the staff a roasting in the food area, when your eating pork 48 hours old it beomes a problem for many, the next day all the hotplates were turned up so the food stayed warm, but the standard still bad, ive stayed in many all inclusive hotels in lanzarote, and i would say it is one of the worst for dinner, not much to choose from , and i understand they need to replenish food, but the quality is rather lacking , it got so bad that they did bananas and rice, half the chefs in the mornings cant cook a egg proerly. The royal level pool bar , the staff are excellent, they work so hard and always smiling and happy to oblige anybody top marks to them. The hotel is lovely and clean but the atmosphere is somewhat lacking, the build a lounge bar , and the nearest toilets are 100 metres away?"
