"Arrived in October. My husband and I and four friends. We normally go to a Barcello active resort and have been there about seven times but fancied a change as the hotel is in a great location on the beach and adjacent to all the shops and bars. Every room has a sea view which was a bonus . the rooms were lovely and cleaned every day. The hotel itself was really nice and there was live entertainment every night. The only drawback was that you could only get two drinks from the bar at one time. I feel that if you came with some elderly parents that couldn’t actually queue up for a drink you could go and get two and then have to queue back up again for another two. The staff in the restaurant we found really nice and friendly, especially Samier. Our only complaint was the Food. breakfast was fine because you could get a full English there if needed and there was loads of other choices as well . lunch and dinner was very basic. I think the most I eat was pizza and several nights, we just went out and ate. There has been a lot of criticisms by other people regarding the food so you would think that the Hotel would look at this and change the menus. It will not deter us from going back to this hotel because we found this is the best one in the area forcouples. it will not stop us from going back as we will probably eat out in the evenings."

"We returned last night from a quick half term break with our 4 year old son. Our holiday overall was great, as we made the most of the break away. The hotel however did not meet up to my expectations. Positives - * The rooms were great and the cleaning staff did an excellent job cleaning them daily. * The views from the balconies were fantastic and the beds were very comfortable. Our 4 year old has his own single bed that was a great size. * The animation team were really great and really patient with our child. Halloween was great and they really did make such a positive effort to include all children at the hotel. We knew when booking that the hotel probably wouldn't have that many children staying, and this was not an issue. The enthusiasm from the animation team was just great. One the occasions we returned to the hotel early, the evening entertainment was actually pretty decent. Negatives - * The food was not of a great standard. We went HB and decided from night 1 to change our dinner to lunch as our first evening meal was just awful. Everything was just wet, greasy, fried. The first night was Asian food and if you like a lot of salt with everything, then this is what you will get. If I had paid for all inclusive at this hotel, I would have been furious. Breakfast was fine, you could get your boiled eggs, cold meats, toast and cereals etc. They made fresh omelettes (in a mountain of oil), and the same with the fried eggs. If you're not too fussy, you can definitely make something of breakfast. On the couple of occasions we stayed in for lunch, you had your bog standard pizzas, salads, chips etc. Some of the waiting staff - plain rude. Some of them lovely. I wish I caught the name of the smaller lady with short dark hair. She was extremely rude. We experienced this on most of the days across a few of the staff, which was simply unacceptable. Pools - The heated pool is good, enough space and depth to have a good swim. The other pool was absolutely freezing, but expected for the time of the year. The baby/childrens pool was just a round puddle. Location wise - perfect for what we wanted. Like I have mentioned, our holiday was great because we made the most of it, but we spent as much time away from the hotel as possible."

"Had 10 days here on our 2nd stay for my birthday lovely hotel very clean food was amazing all staff very nice & the atmosphere was undeniably the most exhilarating we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone give it a try you won't be disappointed in any way we will be returning next year & many more after that"
