Invisa La Cala Hotel

"Great location, clean well equipped rooms,but the food was a bit “Hit & Miss”, the dining room service was POOR. and in the 7days we were there we were only asked once what we’d like to drink( non existent table service). Help yourself to wine etc if you’re All inclusive, the rest have to wait, and wait, and wait ( then give up, or grab a glass of water off a table full of glasses of water????) Poorly organised serving staff,with nobody coordinating who did what and when. Totally different experience to any other hotels we’ve used, it’s like the dining area staff couldn’t be bothered with the job at hand. “Regulars” will tell you “we’ve been coming here 13+yrs” all I can say is their expectations aren’t very high,and are happy with what they get. The hotel is advertised with Jet2 as “Adults Only” rest assured it’s not. Young families, with school age children, babies in pushchairs on site, and as someone who’s wife works in a primary school (as a very busy Classroom Assistant), we always choose adults only hotels to ensure we get a relaxing holiday without having to interact with children. We only found out it wasn’t “Adults Only”after looking at the Invisa Hotel website, which stated we’ve changed to being family oriented, then it all became a lot clearer. Would not have booked this hotel if we’d known in advance that this was the case. If the service level was better, and we felt we were being “looked after”, our experience would have been totally different. Someone needs to manage the dining room staff, as there’s no coordination whatsoever. As I’ve said, our first time experience wasn’t what we expected (or got) which is a shame as the hotel itself is in an ideal spot. Won’t be returning I’m afraid as the guest experience wasn’t great, plus the hotel is now “family orientated” Invisa’s words on their website. A real shame🥲"

"Stayed in this hotel in early April and I can not fault it one bit. Very friendly and hardworking staff throughout the hotel. We stayed B&B and the breakfast was great, lots to choose from every morning and all fresh daily. The staff in the restaurant worked tirelessly to make sure tables were always available. The hotel itself is absolutely spotlessly clean, again the housekeeping staff were very thorough in their work. Hotel is in a great location one street back from the marina where you’re just a short walk from all the delights this wonderful place has to offer. Hotel invissa La Cala reflects how wonderful this place is. We will definitely be back soon."

"Stayed the very end of April on a bed and breakfast basis. Myself and my husband. Plentiful breakfast. I am gluten free and there are plenty of options for this including a gluten feee toaster. Staff are more than approachable to ask for gf options. Room was lovely. Immaculately clean and the staff seem to clean from morning till night. We had a corner room with extra large balcony. It was next to the roadside which was busy but that didn’t not bother us at all. Sun was on the balcony from midday until sunrise. Two min walk from all amenities. Staff all friendly and always spoke to us. We are returning again in October and I cannot wait. Highly recommended"
