AzuLine Hotel Bergantin

"Honest review for a family of three - We arrived at the hotel on the 15th of October and we were there for 4 days. The room was very basic and did have a slight smell but that quickly settled. Our rooms were cleaned everyday but very minimal clean in my opinion. You can hear everything from the next room and outside the room such as slamming doors, talking from people in other rooms and the sound of pipes. Food and drink - Myself and my partner both got food poisoning from the hotel which put me off even eating anything else as I was in bed all day because of this and was extremely poorly. The food is very basic and repetitive compared to other hotels I have been at so that was a shame. There seemed to always be a huge line of people waiting for meat to be cooked and the meat my partner had was not cooked hence the food poisoning. There is a snack bar which provides a menu for you to choose from, I didn’t order much but I did get a hot dog which was crispy so I didn’t order anything else. I found some staff extremely rude compared to other hotels and there was never really a smiling atmosphere from them which is a shame. Animation team/ entertainment and drinks - I think the animation team was the best part for the hotel as they tried their very best and made lots of effort. My daughter really enjoyed kids club with masking bracelets and face painting. There was entertainment and mini discos from half 8, the entertainment finished at 11 and that’s also when drinks were not allowed to be served. There is a token service in place, you exchange your tokens for drinks and then bring the drink back to get your tokens back. Very annoying but I can see why they do it. Some drinks such as the soft ones needed changing but never were so this meant the coke looked really pale and tasted funny. The hotel is in a fab place with lots to do, we walked to the beach which was a 5 minute walk and really enjoyed our time there. The sea was warmer than the swimming pools in the hotel. The swimming pools were literally ice cold so couldn’t really enjoy it. The beach was the best part! There is a water taxi you can get which is a 10 minute walk away to get! Really enjoyed exploring Ibiza more and we had a lovely time there. Sadly won’t be returning to this hotel for the above reasons but we met some lovely people there."

"We are currently here and it is awful. We have limited power and no water! We cannot have a shower or use the loo in our room as nothing is working! They have provided 4 toilets and showers, just outside the hotel, for everyone to use.! This is not acceptable! The lift is out and we are on 4th floor! One of the other guests is having to sleep downstairs in his wheelchair in the bar area as he cannot get up the stairs!! Outrageous! I am struggling to get up and down! But I try not to do it too much! Our key card isn’t working so we have to find a member of staff to walk up with us and let us in!! So many people have moved hotel today. We don’t have a rep so are doing everything by email so it’s taking time to sort anything! Yesterday we had to use paper plates and wooden cutlery and the food was awful. I know it’s not the staff’s fault, and they are helpful and friendly, but they should not be checking more people in when it is in such a state!! I have a hole in the ceiling near my bed which dripping when it rains and the hole is getting bigger!! Such a disappointment, as we wanted a relaxing break 😕"
