"The hotel was everything I wanted… great location (nice and quite), and had everything you could need within a short walk (bus stop, taxis, supermarket, cafes/bars/restaurants/beach), a substantial breakfast (don't understand some of the negative comments regarding this) and fabulous/helpful staff."

"I write this for any English people thinking of going to the Osiris, as nearly all the reviews are by Germans, which the hotel is mainly catering for. HOTEL. Spotless throughout, and staff are very friendly and helpful. Most speak enough English to understand what you want. There is nothing here for children, and no entertainment for adults apart from a 'band' that comes in for 2 hours on Thursday night. Pop music plays all over the pool and deck area from 9am till midnight. They say hotel is 75 meters from beach, they don't say it is over a busy main road, which the hotel is adjacent to. There is no parking, so if you hire a car you have to try to find a spot in the surrounding streets. Ironically they have an unused tarmac tennis court that only needs an access through a low wall to make it a large car park!! No problem with sunbeds as there was always some available, but you are overlooked by the surrounding larger hotels. ROOMS. Sea view rooms are far superior to the garden view ones. We had 240 which was great with the best air con we have had in any hotel. The bathroom was good with a large walk in shower. Beds were made daily and towels replaced on request. However, the room is VERY noisy owing to the adjacent very busy main road. Traffic only seems to stop at midnight, then all back to normal at 5am. The large amount of motor bikes is a particular annoyance. There is a small TV with 4 English channels. FOOD. Undoubtedly the worst food we have ever had in any hotel. Being a small hotel there is very little choice in the buffet meals, and what there is is very poor quality, geared towards the Germans who are the main visitors. We only spoke to 2 other English couples all the time we were there. You can't sign for drinks etc anywhere, you have to pay every time you have something. Although we had half board we went out to restaurants on several nights. GENERAL. Hotel is in a good location for the beach. There are several good restaurants nearby. Buses are plentiful and cheap. We hired a car from Turbo for several days, and would recommend them. There are some positive things about the hotel, but for us there were far too many negatives, and for that reason I would not recommend it, and will not be returning."

"Amazing experience at this hotel. Immaculately clean, friendly staff, nice breakfast with loads of choice and nice coffee. The pool was epic- big enough to have a swim around unlike some other pools I saw. Some days were busy for sunbeds and others not so I suppose it depends . It was hilarious watching the 9am stampede in the hotel opposite each morning! Most of our fellow guests were Dutch or German and all - on the whole - an older crowd. Some young loud women in the hotel opposite but Osiris was quiet and relaxed. We had a small balcony overlooking the garden. The room had a great safe, fridge, telly ( with some British channels) and amazing air conditioning . Bathroom was spacious and spotless. A lady had a bag stolen from the pool side so just be sensible and keep valuables in your free safe. Reception staff were efficient and organised a very good taxi ride for our departure- thank you guys!"
