"I would never return to FERGUS Style Punta Arabi Ibiza and honestly cannot understand how this hotel has the rating it does. From the moment we arrived, the experience was terrible. The staff were rude, lazy, and completely unhelpful. They act like they are on holiday with you rather than actually working there. Every time you ask for help or information, they look annoyed and make you feel like you are inconveniencing them. We were given almost no information at check-in about the hotel, meal times, facilities, or how the so-called “all inclusive” package worked.
The food was awful throughout the stay — cold, repetitive, greasy, and low quality. The snack bar food was nearly always cold and came with a side of grease dripping off everything. If you enjoy good food, avoid this hotel at all costs. Breakfast was no better either, especially the man making the eggs in the morning, who was unbelievably rude if you only spoke English. Customer service clearly means nothing here.
The “all inclusive” package is a complete joke. Be aware that all inclusive definitely does NOT mean all inclusive at this hotel. You constantly get told certain drinks, snacks, and food items are not included unless you pay extra. It feels like they are trying to squeeze more money out of you at every opportunity.
The atmosphere around the pool was horrible as well. There were groups of lads around all day clearly off their heads on drugs, shouting, swearing, and causing chaos from morning until night. It completely ruined any chance of relaxing and made the place feel more like a cheap party hostel than a hotel.
The rooms are tiny, damp, and absolutely nothing like the photos online. You definitely do not get what you pay for. The whole room constantly felt humid and wet, with a horrible damp smell the entire time we stayed there. Even the bedding felt soaking damp when we arrived, like it had never properly dried before being put back on the bed. Trying to sleep in wet bedding in the Ibiza heat was disgusting and uncomfortable. We contacted reception about it and they acted like they couldn’t care less and took forever to do anything about it.
There wasn’t even a coffee machine in the room, which you would expect from a hotel charging these prices. The rooms felt old, badly maintained, and cheaply thrown together. Nothing about this hotel feels premium or relaxing.
The hotel in general is massively overpriced, badly managed, and nowhere near the standard it advertises itself to be. Even the Jet2 rep we spoke to admitted they regularly deal with complaints about this hotel and said people are often asking to be moved elsewhere during their stay — which says everything you need to know.
If you don’t mind terrible food, rude staff, damp dirty rooms, soaking wet bedding, no customer service, and a chaotic atmosphere, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, stay well away. How Jet2 still have this hotel on their website, I honestly do not know…."
