azuLine Hotel Atlantic

"Can't really fault this hotel. I stayed with my daughter and her boyfriend (they had their room, I had mine). The rooms are spotless, the maids clean literally every day (massive shout out to them, they are impeccable), there's a kettle, AC and a fridge, the view is amazing (we stayed facing the pool, and you may not get a view of Es Canar bay, but you get the most glorious view of the med just to the east - Cala Pada, Santa Eulalia etc.), the staff at reception are wonderful and very helpful, the pool plays Spanish and English music all day, there's a bar poolside for any food/drinks you may want, no problem getting a sunbed at any time of day, and plenty of evening entertainment. As we're all adults, I can't comment on any of the kiddie activities, sorry about that. In my 35 years of coming to Es Canar, I've stayed in pretty much every hotel there is here and this one definitely ranks up there. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is 2 reasons. The English breakfast is way below par (there are other options, obviously) and there was a small hiccup on arrival (I had booked and paid for an apartment, but was allocated a studio. However, after speaking to reception at 1.00am, it was all quickly sorted). All in all, I'd definitely recommend this hotel, it's clean and the staff are extremely helpful. That was my experience anyway."

"Ava in the dining room is moody and strops around doing her job, if I had to guess I would say she doesn’t like her job! Yesterday I tried filling up a small 500ml water bottle with water, I was snarled at no and walked to the wall where she repeatedly banged on the wall to a sign saying it is against Spanish law to take food or drink out of the restaurant! I reminded her I wanted water nothing else in my 500ml bottle but again she banged and said no! Mati on the other hand is full of smiles and always said hello and good morning"

"Positive- wonderful breakfast, great housekeeping, daily housekeeping to high standard. Staff friendly and helpful. Negative- noisy guest ,doors slamming, drunken guest very loud. Open smoking of cannabis, around the pool and in their rooms. Constant stink of skunk cannabis. Area was good for eating out with many hidden gems, some excellent restaurants. Hippy Market very good and worth the walk, carry on straight past in the evening to next beach for the most amazing Paellas. Jungle bar is unique for cocktails and friendly atmosphere. Sports bar near the hotel very reasonably priced and great for a stop on the back."
