Eurostars Ibiza

"This hotel was a great find. Located just back from the beach it was lovely and quiet. We had a deluxe room with a sea view. The bed was enormous and super comfortable, and another friend slept on the sofa bed downstairs which she said was also really comfortable. A lovely bonus was there were two separate bathrooms, one on each floor, which was great for my friend as she is struggling with her hip so stairs are not easy. There was also an unexpected kitchen, and not only an iron and ironing board but also a steamer!!! It was really clean and the breakfast was really good. A huge selection to choose from including cooked, hot options every day. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and I want to highlight two of them in particular, Tamara and Diana. They were so lovely and helpful and couldn't have done any more for us if they tried - they are a huge asset and you are lucky to have them. The only slight downside, which did not spoil our holiday at all, was storage space to unpack our clothes. The wardrobe did not have that many hangers and there were no drawers so I ended up mainly living out of my suitcase. The bedroom was plenty big enough to add some storage so that would be my recommendation. We loved it so much that my friend is going to return in May with her mother and daughter. "Our stay at Eurostars Ibiza was okay overall, but unfortunately, the housekeeping experience was quite disappointing, especially for a 4-star hotel. The location was not the most ideal for us, although this may come down to personal preference. One night, we returned to our room to find that it had not been cleaned at all. There was also no housekeeping/“Please Clean” sign in the room that we could hang on the door, so there was no clear way for us to indicate that we wanted the room serviced. It was really disappointing to come back after being out for the day and find the room completely untouched. The situation the day before was also frustrating. The housekeeping lady repeatedly knocked on our door from around 10am asking what time we would be leaving so she could clean the room. We told her she could come back at 12 noon, but she continued knocking several times until shortly before we left around 11am. This was quite annoying and intrusive, especially since we had already given her an answer. To the hotel’s credit, they did offer us a bottle of wine as compensation, which we appreciated. However, for a 4-star hotel, I was not expecting compensation as much as I was expecting the basic level of service — in this case, simply having our room cleaned as it should have been. I understand that housekeeping has schedules to manage, but there should be better communication and coordination with guests, as well as proper housekeeping signs in the rooms. Overall, the repeated interruptions and then having our room not cleaned at all made the experience less pleasant than expected for a 4-star property."

"Excellent choice where I know to stay in Ibiza for just one night. Very close to the port and with a pool and spa (for a fee). Clean and comfortable rooms at a very fair price (€337 without breakfast, €18.00 for breakfast). We got an upgrade to a suite and a discounted breakfast for €13.00. Thanks to Michela, the hotel's very polite and professional manager"
