"Beautiful location with facilities all terraced (and steps) along a beautiful hill. Property classified as 2 stars, but with a little attention it would deserve more! The room was large, well-furnished and bright, but lacking in minor maintenance. Nice and helpful staff (perhaps a little less so), international food and interesting all-inclusive service. Evening entertainment with bingo and other shows. Cleaning that leaves something to be desired, but acceptable!"

"We arrived at 1.30am after a 5 hour flight delay! There were 3 couples and a group of 5 to check in so it was slow but friendly, receptionist spoke excellent english. We were last to check in but receptionist showed us out room, it was a bit of a trek but quiet. We booked a one bed apartment but got a two bed - air con in main bedroom not working and had a note advising this so we used that as a dressing room and slept in the 2nd bedroom - air con in there was great but did leak onto the floor if used for longer period. Air con in the sitting area was great. The apartment had a small kitchen which we didn't really use other than to make tea and coffee as we were AI. Take a kettle, they don't provide them although the kitchen is pretty well equipped other than that! Clean towels left each day and bed linen changed twice during our stay but no cleaning done. Room was spotless when we arrived. Pool - no rush for a sunbed and pool was clean. Lifeguard on duty from 10 to 6 when Pool was open. Bar - only the pool bar open, not a problem for us. Service was good. Entertainment - can't comment as not our thing so retreated to balcony of room before it started - our balcony was enormous! Food - English and continental breakfast served. Lots of lovely salads at lunch and dinner and usually 2 meat dishes and a fish dish with variety of veg - only issue was it was tepid at best and cold at worse - Definitely needs sorting. The hotel is tired and needs money spending on it but we got what we paid for. Would we go back - yes if they sorted out the temperature of the hot food!"

"Was extremely worried after reading reviews, but on arrival, that all changed, it is a very pretty location, and the hotel and rooms were very clean, staff very friendly, there was a wide range of food, sometimes could have been warmer, but I know they are working on this. It is a budget hotel, and great value for money, a perfect base, and also, a very chilled place to lounge by pool. I was there during storm, staff made it easy to shelter, and drinks flowed to keep us calm, please don’t hesitate to go there. Cala llonga, is beautiful, and I met lot of lovely people at hotel, some who go every year. Ignore bad reviews, visit and make your own mind up!😊"
