"As returning guests to Doña Elvira Servatur, my partner and I feel it is important to share our own experience. We have visited year after year, and one of the reasons we keep coming back is the friendly service provided by Paul and Ellie at the pool bar and restaurant. Throughout our stays, we have always found them to be polite, welcoming, professional, and hardworking. It should also be noted that the rule regarding outside food and drinks is a hotel policy, not something created by Paul or Ellie personally. They are simply carrying out the rules set by the hotel, as any member of staff would be expected to do. We were surprised to read comments suggesting poor hygiene or aggressive behaviour, as these claims do not reflect anything we have witnessed. On the contrary, we have consistently seen high standards of cleanliness and excellent customer service.I also find it difficult to understand how anyone can make detailed comments about the quality of the food if they have not actually eaten at the restaurant. In our experience, the food has always been freshly prepared, well presented, and very enjoyable. Reviews are most helpful when they are based on firsthand experience rather than assumptions. The food is also very good and reasonably priced. Personally, I can highly recommend the pizzas, burgers, and gambas al ajillo, all of which we have enjoyed during our stay. The reception team also deserve recognition, as they are always friendly, helpful, and make guests feel welcome from the moment they arrive. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but it is important that reviews are fair and accurate, as negative comments can have a real impact on people who work hard to provide a good service. We are currently still enjoying our holiday in Puerto Rico and continue to appreciate the food, drinks, and hospitality provided by Paul, Ellie, and the rest of the team. Thank you."

"Dona Elvira is a clean, modern hotel. quiet and nice and close to everything. The hotel itself has rules like all the others. You are not allowed to bring anything from your apartment to eat or drink except water. And that information get provided to you when you check in, and it is sign about it. Which is understandable because there is a bar in the pool area that provides service, and you actually have to respect that and if you can't do that then maybe you should consider renting an private apartment,so you can do whatever you want. Norm who wrote a review, how can you write something that is not true. Tripadvisor is based on reviews that you experience. it is not about writing false reviews because you misbehaved. You were told off in the pool area because you did not respect the rules, so instead of telling the truth you have turned everything around and talked crap about the staff in the bar. You have never spoken to the bar staff or gone into the bar. so how can you then write something that you have not experienced, you never ate there so how can you write then that you would not feed your dog the food that is served. Then you go around spreading rumors at the pool to other guests. The one who looks stupid here is none other than you, people laugh at you and your behavior. what does all this say about a person like you! Then the question is how unhappy and childish are you? The bar staff are nice, the food is so good and most importantly they are so clean. If you had gone in there you would have seen how clean their kitchen is. If you choose not to be a customer at bar they don’t get upset. But don’t go around and spread false rumours to other customers."

"The hotel is beautiful and couldn't fault the room. Only issue we had was the arrogance of the manager from the pool restaurant Paul. You can't drink or eat anything of your own otherwise he will come over and be aggressive like we saw. His professionalism was unbelievable and so rude. Also they only accept money no 💳 cards. Also his partner was smoking outside the restaurant which doesn't give the guests any faith and hand hygiene was appalling especially when preparing food and drinks.The reception staff were amazing on arrival and nothing isn't too much trouble."
