"I had an excellent stay and honestly couldn't have asked for more. The hotel exceeded my expectations, especially considering its star rating and the price. It offered fantastic value for money.
I paid extra for the premium room upgrade, and it was well worth it. The room included air conditioning, a TV, dressing gown and slippers, as well as a fully equipped kitchenette with everything needed to prepare tea, coffee or meals. There was a fridge, all the utensils and equipment you could need if you wanted to self-cater. The bathroom featured a powerful hot waterfall shower, which was fantastic after a day in the sun. The room also had a spacious balcony with sun loungers, stunning views, and a drying area for washing, which was a really useful addition. The only small downside was that the TV only had one channel (Sky News), and there was a €20 refundable deposit for the remote controls, which was returned promptly when I checked out. In reality, this wasn't an issue as I spent very little time in the room.
The hotel was spotless throughout, my room was immaculate, and the views were absolutely to die for. It was also lovely and quiet, making it easy to relax, and there were always plenty of sunbeds available.
As a solo traveller, I felt genuinely welcomed and really well looked after by all the staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive and made me feel comfortable throughout my stay. A special mention also goes to Oscar's team around the bar and pool area. There only seemed to be a small team, yet they worked incredibly hard and put in long hours every day. Despite always being busy, they never stopped smiling and consistently provided excellent service. Their dedication and work ethic were outstanding, and they really deserve recognition for how hard they work.
I stayed on a half-board basis, and the food was one of the real highlights of my holiday. Rather than a buffet, every meal was freshly cooked to order from a menu, which made the whole dining experience feel much more special. Dinner each evening was served piping hot, freshly prepared and the quality was outstanding. Every meal was restaurant quality, beautifully cooked and full of flavour. There was even a barbecue evening included as part of my half-board package, with a fantastic selection of meats, including perfectly cooked steak. The barbecue was top-notch and just added to what was already an exceptional dining experience. I genuinely couldn't fault the food, and I can honestly say it's some of the best hotel food I've ever had. A huge thank you to Chef Sergio for producing such consistently excellent meals throughout my stay.
The location was perfect. The beach was just a short walk away, and it was an easy stroll into town where you'll find a huge shopping centre and more restaurants than you could ever want. The boardwalk was beautiful, especially in the evening, and was perfect for a leisurely walk along the beach.
Although there wasn't any organised evening entertainment, this wasn't a problem for me. The staff made sure the World Cup football was shown in the bar during the evenings, so I was able to watch the England match, which was a nice touch and very much appreciated.
I also went on a four-hour catamaran excursion booked through TUI during my stay, and it was another highlight of my holiday. The relaxing cruise was excellent, with beautiful scenery, a lovely atmosphere, and food included as part of the trip. Everything was well organised, and it was a fantastic way to spend a few hours on the water. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
The only slight downside was the large number of steps up to the hotel, but you soon get used to them and they certainly wouldn't put me off staying here again.
Overall, this was an outstanding hotel that offered far more than I expected. From the cleanliness, incredible views and exceptional food to the warm, welcoming staff and perfect location, everything came together to make it a fantastic holiday. As a solo traveller, I felt completely safe throughout my stay, both inside the hotel and when walking around the local area. The staff genuinely looked after me and made me feel valued and special from the moment I arrived. I very rarely return to the same hotel twice, but this is one I'd happily make an exception for. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for excellent value for money and a relaxing, enjoyable stay. I would especially recommend it to solo travellers looking for a safe, welcoming hotel with exceptional staff."
