"Amazing stay at Servatur Playa Bonita – 16th–24th September I stayed at Servatur Playa Bonita from 16th–24th September and had an amazing stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Overall, I really couldn’t fault the cleanliness, food or staff. Our room was cleaned to a high standard every day, the food was fresh with plenty of variety, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. We genuinely felt well looked after throughout our stay. Rooms We stayed in Building 4, which was conveniently close to the pool and dining area. The room was extremely spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed and bedding. A free safe was also included. The air conditioning was brilliant — despite temperatures being over 30°C, I actually felt cold at times! The cleaners did an excellent job every day and kept the room spotless. Food & Drinks We stayed all-inclusive and were really impressed with the variety of food available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast, lunch and dinner had lots of choice, with food constantly being brought out fresh. There were also themed evenings featuring food from different parts of the world, which helped prevent things from becoming repetitive. I’d seen previous reviews mentioning flies, but this wasn’t an issue for us. We saw the odd fly, which is understandable, but there were measures in place around the food stations to prevent them landing on the food. There was also a good selection of alcoholic drinks. We found the pre-mixed cocktails a little weak, but the bar staff were more than happy to add extra alcohol when we asked. Entertainment & Activities The daily activities and entertainment were clearly displayed next to reception. Aqua aerobics took place every day, and other activities included beer pong, darts and yoga. The evening entertainment was generally very enjoyable. I didn’t love every performance, but that’s down to personal preference. The music quiz and karaoke were particularly fun and got everyone involved, while the drag act and gymnastics performance were both great quality, professional entertainment . Staff The staff were definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Everyone was consistently polite, friendly and welcoming. The bar staff quickly remembered our usual drinks and would make suggestions about things we might enjoy. The daytime and entertainment staff were also full of energy and always encouraged guests to get involved. We genuinely looked forward to seeing them each day and will miss them now we’re home! One thing that really stood out was the help we received on our departure day. Our transfer unexpectedly no longer picking us up, so we went to reception and explained the situation. The receptionist immediately arranged a taxi to the airport, confirmed it would arrive within a few minutes and reassured us that we would make our flight. We really appreciated how quickly and calmly she dealt with the situation. Facilities & Location The hotel has one large pool with plenty of sun loungers, and we never struggled to find one during our stay. Floats aren’t permitted in the pool, although I can understand this helps prevent them taking up too much space. The pool has steps, ladders and a ramp for access, and there are men’s, women’s and accessible toilets nearby. We didn’t use the hot tub, but it was very large and located in a separate, quieter area with sun loungers and canopy beds, which looked like a lovely space to relax. The location is also great. There are plenty of shops, supermarkets, pubs, bars and restaurants nearby, and the seafront is only a short, straightforward walk away. There is also a large market every Wednesday and Saturday. It’s incredibly convenient — simply turn right when leaving the hotel and the market is just down the road. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday at Servatur Playa Bonita. The rooms were spacious and clean, the food was varied and fresh, the facilities were great, the location was convenient and the staff were absolutely lovely. We would happily stay here again!"

"BE AWARE - Very concerned about how this has been handled. My daughter recently stayed at this hotel and accidentally left all of her jewellery together on the bedside table when she checked out. She is completely certain where she left it. We contacted the hotel but have simply been told that nothing was found. This is extremely difficult to understand, as the jewellery was together and clearly visible on the bedside table and the room would subsequently have been entered and cleaned. Some of the pieces also have significant sentimental value. We are not making accusations about any individual, but we do expect the hotel to take this seriously and properly investigate what happened, including speaking directly with the housekeeping staff who entered the room after checkout. We would really appreciate a manager contacting us and looking into this properly rather than the matter ending with “nothing was found”. impossible nothing was found as the jewellry was on the beside table !"

"Avoid this hotel at all costs especially if you are taking children. No floats, rubber rings not even small pool toys allowed in pool. Lifeguard sits watching his phone most of the day & actually missed a baby walking up to pool & falling in. A guest had to jump in wearing his clothes to save her. There is also an old man that sits top right hand corner, (if facing restaurant) who walks around as if he owns the place, giving out to people & he even shouted at us on our first day & said “I hate the f**king English!! apparently he lives on site & owns a couple of the rooms in block 4. Think his name is George, he’s German & his pictures are included below. Restaurant was full of flies & no good coverings. Staff in restaurant very rude, especially the chefs. One day you could have Omelette & pick your own toppings from salad bar & the next you’d get shouted at & told no. Drinks very small at bar, sunbed’s very scarce & towel’s on most of the day with no one sitting on them. Evening entertainment poor. To leave it on a brighter note, reception staff were very nice & helpful & rooms were cleaned daily."
