Hotel HL Sahara Playa

"Avoid this hotel I was staying on my own. I was at the pool. I was chatting to my mom on the phone. The lifeguard is giving me hand signals to be quieter. I was so upset. I should be able to have one phone call at the pool. I can understand if I was having a long conversation at pool but I wasn’t not. I asked to speak to a manager at receptionist no manager there until Sunday. I was there on Friday. If you want a relaxing holiday. Avoid this place!!! Never had any issue when I was on holidays before this hotel. Food was okay many options"

"This is nowhere near 4 star quality. I haven't paid extra for Wi-Fi for years - and this was an all inclusive holiday - only free in the reception. There is no bar - its outside the hotel and combined with a sports bar, so not a relaxing atmosphere. If you want a drink in your room or by the (small) pool or lovely sun terrace you have to leave the hotel and bring it back in a plastic cup. The rooms were dated and 4 star basics not supplied i.e. no tea/coffee in the rooms or shampoo and cheap soap- just one pillow each. The gym was awful. On the plus side there was a good choice of food and staff were pleasant but I wouldn't stay again - a big disappointment. Looking on here others have found the same issues and they haven't changed things to improve"

"Great location, very central for shops, restaurants, pubs galore! 2 min walk from STUNNING beach. Hotel is lovely, clean and good facilities. All inclusive options were great, loads of choice. Came here with 2 friends - we're all 50 (nearly) and not party animals and loved the vibe of this place. Highly recommend!"
