"We booked a bungalow for a week at the end of March . The photos were a bit deceiving online and most things were much more run down in real life. Like the pool : there were large chunks of peeled off paint everywhere, nearly half the pool was peeled off which caused a lot of scratches, cuts and bruises on the kids . The bungalow had some sort of crystallised mass growing on the lower part of the walls , looked like white crystallised mold , hard to explain , it crumbled up when I brushed it off . We also had an ant infestation on the first day of, woke up with tiny ants crawling everywhere including the beds and on us . No ventilation system that worked in the bathroom, no window either , it was a smelly sweat box.
. Sometimes a foul sewer smell would emerge from the drains and the only way to get rid of it was to let it come into the rest of the bungalow and open a bedroom window or the front door.
The worse part was the food ‼️
Oh my goodness ..absolutely terrible! . the very little options that were available were most of the times either burned , unseasoned and bland, or simply raw .
My kids ate a good chunk of raw fish before I even noticed and I only checked because the liver in my plate was raw as well . (Food options were so terrible that I had no choice but to go for liver )
Same liver was served 3 days in a row , reheated and each day looking more terrible. When I showed the raw fish and liver to the staff , he just shrugged his shoulders and said “OK”. Fish was raw on 4 separate occasions.! So clearly no one cared.
We ended up having whatever pizza and chips and fruit was there for lunch and go out for dinner every night despite having paid the all inclusive package , which added roughly another €750 to our familie’s holiday expense.
Even the watermelon was chopped up on a chopping block where were previously chopped onions because it tasted like raw onions 🤢
We don’t drink alcohol so can’t comment on that. But heard people complain about the only one choice of beer being available and that was flat.
Location was ok, plenty of restaurants in the area (thank goodness) about 30 minutes walk from the beach.
The “soundproofing” stated on the website is probably only available in the newer bungalows because in ours it was nonexistent !
We could hear every conversation, toilet flush., wardrobe being opened, etc from our neighbours. We had very little sleep , especially at night when they would return tipsy from the bar and waking up our whole family, kids then became unsettled, so we ended up sleeping in most mornings after they finished getting ready for the pool and making noise again , (and after the 3 peacocks on the premises got fed right outside our bedroom window making a lot of noises) because we were genuinely exhausted … so it felt like we’ve missed out on a lot of time out by the pool. We did express the noise issue but unfortunately it was ongoing during our stay.
The only good thing about our visit was the only server who looked like he was happy to be there and do his job , named ELOY- very friendly and chatty , the reception staff , and the two guys from the animation team/ kids club.
It looks nice online but we were fooled. I wouldn’t recommend or return . Definitely not the place where you want to pay all inclusive prices anyway."
