"Our Stay at the Corillium Dunamar Hotel – October 2026 We stayed at the Corillium Dunamar Hotel in October 2026 and, overall, had a very pleasant stay. There were lots of positives, although there are a few areas where we feel some improvements could make the experience even better, particularly for guests who have paid for the additional benefits of the Unique and Premium Inclusive packages. The Positives Our Deluxe View room with the Unique package was lovely. It was very comfortable, with firm beds and a choice of pillows, which was a welcome touch. The daily replenishment of bottled water and the in-room coffee machine were also appreciated. The staff, in general, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They work exceptionally hard, and this was evident throughout our stay. The hotel was immaculate, and the swimming pool and sunbathing areas were consistently clean, tidy and well supervised. We were particularly impressed by the warm welcome we received from an older male receptionist, who was lovely, helpful and professional. The food was plentiful, with an abundance of choice, and the drinks selection available through the Premium Inclusive package was generous. Areas for Improvement Unfortunately, our experience with one younger male receptionist was disappointing. He was very well groomed, with double ear piercings, but came across as unhelpful and unfriendly. This was in stark contrast to the lovely welcome we received from the other receptionist and did not reflect the otherwise excellent customer service provided by the team. As Unique guests, we would have welcomed an à la carte dining option for dinner, as an alternative to the standard buffet. This is simply a suggestion that could help make the additional package feel even more special. Similarly, although the drinks selection included in the Premium Inclusive package was generous, we feel that the choice could be widened further to reflect the extra amount guests pay for this level of package. Our final criticism concerns the bed linen. We stayed for seven nights, and although the bed was made beautifully every day, the sheets did not appear to be changed during our stay. We found this disappointing, particularly as we have stayed in two- and three-star establishments where the bedding has been changed at least once during a week-long visit. The towels were also rather coarse and could certainly benefit from being softer. Overall Verdict Despite these few criticisms, we had a very pleasant stay at the Carillion Dunamar Hotel. The cleanliness, comfort, friendly staff and overall atmosphere made for an enjoyable holiday. Our comments are intended constructively, as we believe a few small improvements, particularly for guests paying for the upgraded packages, could make an already good experience even better. We would recommend the hotel to friends and would hope to see these suggestions considered for future guests."

"Hotel with very good services, it is worth highlighting the Unique space and especially the breakfasts, for me the best of the best, and above all highlighting the great and wonderful service of Arinegua, Evelyn and their chef Lolibel Sofía, they made my sister and me spend wonderful mornings and 10/10 service! "We stayed in Corallium Dunamar for 1 week in October. We opted for both Premium All-Inclusive and the Unique package. The hotel is directly adjacent to the Maspalomas boulevard, the dunes within walking distance. Quick access to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants. However, loud party music from the boulevard, as well as the hotel's own music, continues until at least 00:30 every night. You can hear it in your room with the balcony door closed. If you're a light sleeper, we recommend a different hotel. The building and gardens are nice and clean, but the elevators have frequent technical issues. We enjoyed the Nereo Bar before the entertainment starts, and the quiet Unique Lounge during the day.The pool area with its layered gardens and terraces is fantastic. We loved all three pools, especially the one to the right of reception, where there is no music. There were always enough deck chairs, even outside the Unique areas. Almost all staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in a Unique Deluxe View room on the 15th floor. Important: the elevator only goes to floor 14. The room was fine but felt a little dated. The shower had good water pressure. Housekeeping focused mainly on beds, coffee cups and the bin. The floors and shower were not properly cleaned and became progressively dirtier. The room is also far from soundproof. You can hear conversations from other rooms through the vents. After a day or two, we noticed that in many places (Nereo Bar, Food Garden and outside by the pools) you could often hear 2 or 3 sources of music at once, from within the hotel itself. For example, Nereo Bar plays its own music while the hotel entertainment is on, and at lunch the Food Garden music mixes with the music from the pool area. It can get a bit strenuous. The hotel entertainment varied in quality. Some singers were good, but the volume was way too high. Once it starts, there is nowhere to escape the sound, inside or outside, including your room. Forget about reading a book or enjoying a quiet drink on your balcony. On our last evening, we admitted to each other that although we had enjoyed our holiday, we couldn't wait to go home and spend evenings without constant loud music. A major downside of this hotel. We alternated between the Unique breakfast and regular buffet. In hindsight, the buffet quality and choice were comparable. Lunch and dinner buffets were nice. After about 4 days it became somewhat repetitive, but quality was good. Healthy options are available. The Unique Lounge and La Sal snacks were okay: mostly crisps, finger-food sandwiches and sweet cakes similar to the buffet. The cocktails included in Premium All-Inclusive are pre-mixed and vary in quality. For example, the amaretto sour was nice, but the piña colada had a chemical taste. My partner liked trying the wide range of spirits and liqueurs available. Overall, we do think Premium All-Inclusive is worth the money. Upon check-in, reception promptly informed us that the Mediterraneum restaurant was fully booked for our entire stay. This was very disappointing, as a 3-course dinner there was supposedly part of the Unique package. We felt misled: we had been looking forward to this dinner and felt we had already paid for it through the package. When we expressed our disappointment, we were made to feel like needy, complaining children. “It was always just subject to availability, nothing we can do about it.” We felt scolded for asking. Either don’t pretend it’s included or tell guests to reserve before their stay. It’s not hard. Unique is not worth the price. It gives you an okay à-la-carte breakfast, a lounge with snacks, additional deck chairs, extra pillows, differently coloured towels and a welcome drink you could also order at the bar with the premium package. We had a good holiday, but we would not choose this hotel again. But, big compliments to bar & restaurant staff!"
