"Arrived a little early but room was ready and we were checked in quickly and efficiently, also booked a garden view room but got upgraded to pool view, which was a nice touch. Room was lovely and clean, beds very comfortable and hotel is quiet at night, you get a good sleep. Fridge has stuff in but enough space to store stuff as well. Pool area is clean, plenty of beds and good bar service. Overall had a really enjoyable stay, special mention to all the staff who make you feel welcome. Looking forward to coming back."

"Friendly staff (and guests), good buffet breakfast to start the day off, ideal location for Yumbo and also a good location generally, mini supermarket at end of road, plenty of shops and dining nearby. Our room (balcony/garden view) was spacious, had everything we needed and it was good to have a bedroom separate to the lounge and kitchenette. It's not a 5 star luxury hotel - but the service, vibes and comfort were all 5 star. Hopefully we'll be back to Gran Canaria soon and we would definitely stay at Axel Beach again!"

"Great location for the jumbo Atmosphere cold, lots of straight couples there as well Room, basic , great view, 2 single beds pushed together to make a double. No enough utensils or cutlery, only 2 wine glasses. If you wanted to wash them up you are charged for the washing liquid and sponge. Expensive mini bar. Nowhere to store your own cold products. Coffee pods are charged. You do get one free bottle of water. Bar was ok although they had run out of things I wanted to order. Barman was lovely. Pool was a good size. Not enough loungers around the pool to accommodate all guests. Advised to dial 9 if you wanted a massage but told to come reception to organise or contact him direct. What’s the point of ringing 9? Towels rough. Maid good at doing the room."
