"A group of us stayed here for one of the groups birthday. It was a fantastic stay. Check in was seamless, personal and in-depth. When we got to our room (sea view double) we were greeted with bottle of bubbles - completely unasked for - for the groups birthday. That was a great touch.
The room its self was spotless and modern. No issues at all. There is a complimentary safe, large wardrobes and plenty of storage space including bedside cabinets with draws, an iron and ironing board and large modern bathroom with an excellent rain shower. Had excellent, comfortable sleep each night.
The two pool areas were well maintained with good quality pool towels which can be changed as frequently or as infrequently as you wish. Just remember to get your two towel cards when checking out later in the day. The only thing that could be improved is some music around the pool - doesn’t have to be modern or poppy, just some quiet relaxing music in the background.
We ate at all three restaurants. Our favourite was the el Oasis (al a carte) which we booked through the app. The service was attentive and the food was excellent quality. The only downside I found, which would not stop me from coming back but is worth a mention, was the main Buffett restaurant. The food EXCELLENT, the staff EXCELLENT. The layout, bot so much. This leads to a lot of bumping and barging. There’s a lot of indoor space that could be eaten up a bit more to expand the space - especially as there doesn’t seem to be a quiet time for dinner. My top tip is BE PATIENT and HAVE PATIENCE and remember that even though others lack manners you are on holiday so take your time.
On a final note, as someone in their late 30s I don’t consider myself a youngster, but I do agree wit some other comments on here that there is a bit of age snobbery from other guests. If you’re not wearing a shirt at dinner or breakfast, have exposed tattoos, wear flip flops through reception on your way to the pool, you DO get looks and stares from older guests. I even heard one guest ask a member of staff if they could ask someone to cover their tattoos as they thought it was unacceptable to allow that many to be on show at dinner. THIS OFC IS NOT THE HOTELS PROBLEM ( i state this in caps as too many times I read reviews that mark hotels down on things that aren’t to do with the hotel). This is merely a heads up for younger possible guests to expect that it may be different clientele from other hotels in the resort they may have stayed at.
This is an excellent hotel. Worth every single penny and cent."
