Caybeach Princess

"I went here in September with my 9 year old daughter, and my older cousins. I originally booked this place as we have stayed at the caybeach sun in playa blanca over 10 times now! We booked this hotel thinking that as it was a sister hotel, it would be nice. Whoever this wasn't the case. I've never seen so many cockroaches in my whole life!! Walking back to the room of a night time was like being on an asort course!! Also had 2 in our room. 1 behind the mop bucket left in the room. And another 1 running up the bedroom door!! Tried to call the reception to report this and possibly get another room. But the room phone didn't work. I used my own phone to call the reception and was put thru to a Spanish voicemail. I guessed and pressed any button to be connected to someone. Only to be referred to security that didn't speak English at all!! Actual daytime receptionist are very helpful and kind. But the pool bar staff was rude! And the lifeguard was definitely favouritism the Spanish! I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy!!"

"Don’t fall for the crap reviews - this is an honest review with tips Location - fantastic, bus stops to playa del Ingles, Puerto Rico and Mogán right outside. The hotel offers a shuttle to Maspalomas beach every day and taxis aren’t expensive. From the hotel to the Yumbo centre or Playa del Ingles beach from 5-8 euros. Hotel - very clean, extremely spacious rooms albeit a little dated in areas and a very large pool area with plenty of beds and umbrellas. Our only complaint is the pool bar closes at 10 which isn’t ideal. There is not lots of entertainment in the hotel however what is available looks fun. Self catering- good supply of essentials- 2 ring hob - combo microwave and oven - fridge with small freezer compartment The staff are far from rude, in fact they are warm and welcoming. Yes the life guard is strict and doesn’t allow inflatables however when you see the size of the pool it’s easy to understand how difficult it would be to keep all safe if there were lots of lilos and rings everywhere. Little shop/supermarket on site is fab for essentials and the lady who runs it is lovely, for everything else there is Hyper Dino 10mims walk away and Lidl etc. easy to get to as well. It really is a little gem of a place"

"Lovley place, very clean, pool area fab, bungalows ideal, staff helpful. everything you would need. Lads at bar very pleasant. Perfect place if you want a complete chill. As complex is inland, nearest beach is a good 30 min walk. Or a shuttle bus from complex to madpolomas beach. To las ingles beach a longer walk, taxis around 6/7 euros. Both beaches clean with all amenities. If you have a later flight arriving at complex around 9.30pm, please be aware pool bar closes at 10pm drinks only. No evening food, shop closes early. We found a complex 100 yards down the road, very basic open 24/7. We packed pot noodles/ tea etc as didn't know what was on offer.got us by till next day. We learned new owners in, and stopped evening restaurant, ashame as it would be very popular with families & children , now offers accommodation with breakfast or full self catering. TV only English news channels. We took laptop etc to be able to watch films on the odd chill night, Also mobile wifi. As we now know lay of the land, would re visit"
