Bungalows Vista Oasis

"We came to vista oasis on the 7th October for 1 week as a family with 3 children, after seeing a lot of negative comments we were worried to say the least but I can honestly say we had a great week. Yes the food got a little repetitive but there was always something. The staff couldn't have been friendlier/more helpful if they tried. Rooms are a bit dated but we didn't have any problems with cleanliness/bugs. We had 2 bungalows booked, I'd emailed them prior to our arrival requesting if we could be allocated bungalows relatively close, which they honoured and put us next door to each other so if you're traveling as a group id recommend doing this. The pool was cleaned every morning without fail which is something else I saw a lot of negative comments regarding pool cleanliness. You can really see the staff are trying their best and are taking on board negative comments and trying to make them right. There are some lovely restaurants located nearby on the same road as the hotel so if you do get a little fed up of the food there are other options, also a spar 2 minutes up the road for everyday essentials. All in all if you're due to arrive here and are worried, as long as you don't expect the Ritz you have absolutely nothing to worry about, we've been to higher rated hotels and had much worse experiences! 🙈 I really don't have a bad word to say about the place 😊"

"By far the worst holiday I’ve ever had in my life. We are all inclusive but the food is inedible. We’ve survived on fruit from the complex and have had to use the local spar across the street to eat anything decent. And it’s really expensive. The “snack” options (4-5pm) are a choice of 3 different pasties. No fruit or anything. No food on an evening until 6:30pm. The rooms are basic and need redecorating. No cleaning staff on weekends so bins and overflowing. We’ve been emptying our own into the communal small bins outside. Entertainment is limited to 3 days a week, and 1/10 for each show. Pool area is clean. Beach is a 2.5 hour walk away, there is a free bus but only twice a day. When you are at the beach you’re constantly hounded by lucky-lucky men trying to sell cheap hats/towels/glasses. It’s every 5 minutes. Fine for older couples and lads/lasses weekends if you’re looking for something basic but NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY AT ALL. No reps, no one speaks English. No one wants to help Luckily I speak very basic Spanish but other people may not be so lucky."

"Stayed here for a week, the location is a bit of a walk to resort and beaches about 35 mins but it’s a nice walk in nice weather, hotel needs a bit of tlc but it’s nice, the staff are friendly, the food selection is ok but not loads to choose from, breakfast is typical, lunch is salads and burgers/hotdogs, and different dinners each night but you won’t starve. The pool is cold, when you first get in but ok sort of. The rooms are big and have a kitchenette and nice terrace with table and chairs and a sun lounger. Hire a car if you can."
