"The hotel is well located and looks nice however we experienced several issues during our 11 night stay 1. We had to ask for more toilet roll on 5 separate occasions during our stay! The room was cleaned each day to a good standard but majority of the time no toilet roll was left. If it was it was only 1 so we had to ask reception or track the cleaning staff down. 2. Dirty cups weren't cleaned and on one occasion left in the bathroom sink dirty. 3. The room was a good size but badly designed. There was no mirror in a helpful place to do make up. There was only 1 in the bathroom and 1 in the darkest corner right by the room door. There was loads of wall space where a mirror could have been located. 4. Coffee pods were not supplied after the first day. My partner asked for some thinking this was standard as would usually be the case but was told these were not complimentary. Had we been staying 1 or 2 nights we would have had enough so we were basically penalised for staying for 11 nights. 5. The balcony was dirty and needed repair and bird poo was everywhere. 6. Breakfast was good and plenty to choose from but was exactly the same every day. There were 2 tea/coffee machines which were not adequate for a lot of people and constantly needed attention. There were 2 toasters of which some of the plates didn't work. On the last day there was only 1 toaster which kept tripping the lights! It's a shame there were so many small issues as it could have been a really nice stay otherwise but we won't be returning."

"I really like this hotel. Overall it is a good choice. What I learned about Gran Canaria (North vs South weather) though, it would mean I would not chose the North. I just like sunshine a lot more. But this has nothing to do with the Hotel which was very nice. Clean, cozy and all. Small things that would have been an improvement: 1. - toilet brush - we had none. 2. - no balcony, and no place to dry our wet clothes / towels etc. 3. - storage space. As a 4 member family, we basically lived out of our luggage. They could use a wardrobe or something. 4. - we were on the 1st floor and in the morning they would wake us up every day with dragging the restaurant chairs on the concrete. 5. - dinners. This was the first time we had dinners like this. 2 options, chose what you will have. Interesting. And we tried a lot of new food that we did not know before. BUT. Every dinner took soooo looong. Why? everything was closed by the time we were done. I could it 3 courses in 10 minutes. Ok that is too short. Make it 30 minutes, or 40. But 90? And just wait for dessert that is the same apple pie that is cold and is served every day for breakfast too? This was very annoying."
