Exe Las Palmas

"Just home from staying in this place. Looking on there website the pictures are very misleading. The rooms are very Basic they have good WiFi and a Smart TV thank fully. The Jainitor was very helpful with getting TV set up, phone had to ba replaced aswell when we arrived. The room very standard no Tea or Coffee facility. A small mini fridge in the room and a bottle of water on arrival, also few beverages in fridge available at a price. Beds were comfortable soft pillows but no blankets supplied. Aircon was very noisy so we turned it of. No balcony just a window opening. No restaurant and the only bar was a pool bar on the roof which only opened at 12.00 and closed at 4.00. Breakfast was awful l am a Coeliac so all l could eat was gluten free bread rolls which for 9 days gets bit much. I asked chef could she make me a Omelette and straight away she said No. The waiting staff at Breakfast were lovely especially Stephen. Wouldn't recommend this place for a Holiday only maybe for a night. "

"We had a good stay at Exe hotel. We paid a small fee to have early check in, chocolates and a fruit basket. It was well worth the nominal fee as we were able to check in at 10:00 in the morning, unpack and enjoy the rest of the day. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. They are cheerful and we always received a warm greeting whenever we returned to the hotel. We did not have any problems with street noise. Our room had no view to speak of , we just faced an old apartment building across the street. Our room was well taken care of and we slept well. Access to the beach and transit is very handy. It is just a short walk to both. It is lovely to be able to walk on the promenade at the beach where there are many shops and restaurants. The breakfast was okay. We had it both mornings. I do wish that they had told us that there was an additional charge for breakfast. When we checked in, we were just told what the breakfast hours were but there was no mention of an additional charge for breakfast. There is a small rooftop pool and hot tub and I imagine that in the peak season it would be very busy. The problem with the pool area is the lack of umbrellas for shade. There was no shade at all and it was too hot and uncomfortable sitting in the sun. We would stay at Exe again. The service and staff are great, it’s in a good location, the room was comfortable and the price was fair."

"Stayed here for 3 nights following a cruise. Staff were warm and welcoming. A special mention to Natalia, Iara and the young man on reception who went above and beyond to help us and to organise car hire. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Beds very comfortable. Room cleaned every day, towels sheets changed on request. We would not hesitate to visit the hotel again. Did not get chance to visit the roof top pool /bar. This is a city centre hotel and not a beach resort and i think others that leave bad reviews should bear that in mind. Thank you for a lovely stay."
