Adults-only stay in Tarajalejo
In the tranquil surroundings of Tarajalejo, the R2 Romantic Fantasia Dreams & Suites Hotel is an adults-only escape to the south coast of Fuerteventura that could be just the retreat you need. It's a short stroll to the shore, too, which is a long strip of volcanic black sand, lined with a smattering of bars and restaurants.
Head out into the hotel's gardens and amidst the tropical greenery, you'll find a curvy swimming pool surrounded by loungers and parasols. The rest of the facilities are housed at the sister hotel next door, and you'll have every opportunity to make full use of the them during your stay. Head to the spa and you can indulge in one of the treatments on offer, or just spend a few hours flitting between the Turkish bath, aromatic showers, and thermal loungers. There's a gym, a couple of tennis courts, and a daily line-up of organised activities, too.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are handled by the sister property as well, so that's where you'll be having your meals. There's a nightclub tucked away there, too, so you won't have to wander far to find a dancefloor perfect for letting loose.
