"A wonderful vacation at the Iberostar Waves Playa Gaviotas, we have come away delighted, as on every occasion, we have met new staff who have treated us wonderfully and what can we say about those who have been making us very happy for many years every time we visit them, special mention for the bar staff Benjamín, Eduardo, Pablo, Jesús, Pedro, Musta, Francisco, Marta, Tania (Alfredo at the tapas bar, a great success and how delicious the tapas that Alba prepares are) also to the cook Carin in the dining room, we don't forget Sabrina and Valentín from reception, nor do we forget Marina from housekeeping (about to retire, we appreciate her very much) as well as our more than beloved entertainment team, Matías, Leon, Samu, Amine, Alba, Lucía, Joyce, Nerea, Alex, they have a wonderful team for fun activities, we also want to mention the lifeguard Rui, they have renovated the Coronas bar which has turned out beautiful, spectacular, the Calima is also very relaxing and the renovated rooms are beautiful. Food and drink are of quality, a spectacular hotel, with an impressive beach and the best thing without a doubt is the STAFF. Thank you very much to the manager Tina who has a great team at this beautiful hotel, take care of it and a very big hug to our Gaviotas family."

"The hotel is portrayed much too positively on the internet. You have to be an early riser and reserve loungers before breakfast at 8 o'clock. Everyone does it and the hotel management doesn't care. The dining hall is extremely loud. Apple Watch constantly reports hearing-damaging noise. Of course, the DJ tops this in the evening with a volume that makes the lighthouse 1km away shake. And there was nothing to be seen of childcare so far. The food is a solid 3-star quality, if you disregard ice-cold wines and partly still frozen fruit. For us, the first and last visit to Iberostar."
