"We spent New Year’s 2023–2024 at Esencia de Fuerteventura by Princess Hotels, and everything was absolutely perfect. We stayed for one week and enjoyed every moment of our holiday. We were accommodated in the exclusive Esencia area, which included access to a private pool, a private restaurant, and even a beautiful bar with ocean views – all reserved for Esencia guests only. This added a very special and relaxing touch to our stay. We also enjoyed time at the spa area, which includes several pools and a well-equipped sauna zone. It was the ideal place to unwind and recharge. The hotel has several restaurants – the main one and another with ocean views. Both offered good variety and quality. On New Year’s Eve, they organized a festive dinner followed by a lovely fireworks display, which was a beautiful way to welcome the new year. The beach is just in front of the hotel – long, sandy, and perfect for walks or simply relaxing by the ocean. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. It was a wonderful, peaceful, and elegant way to celebrate the New Year!"

"This was our 2nd visit to this hotel, the last time was Christmas 2021 when we still had COVID testing fortunately none of that this time. We loved it then and loved it again this time. We stayed in the Escencia part again well worth a little extra for the pool grounds and the all-inclusive plus The food was wonderful and it is still one of the best all-inclusive we've been to. The cocktails could be better and I noticed the cava is no longer available on the standard all-inclusive but was on our plus package. Bar service and staff could be improved. Some of the barmen are a little grumpy and unhelpful, but a few are really nice. Housekeeping staff were friendly and efficient, rooms were cleaned well every day. We ate in the Food Market main buffet every night but we loved the lunch at the El Mirador restaurant. Fish and meat cooked to order and a big range of salads and other dishes too. We often had coffee and cake there too in the afternoon. One suggestion is to cover the cakes and fruit table at the Mirador as the sparrows land on them to snack, a simple mesh cover is all that is eeded We had lunch in the Scirocco by the beach a few times, it was good when they had the barbecue area open but basic pizza and burgers other times. We loved that there were always lots of sunbeds available by the pool all day no one booking them early mornings with a towel. Wifi was fast and reliable everywhere which is unusual in hotels. The TV had UK ITV BBC and Channel 4 which is also unusual. A beautiful long sandy beach is just down the slope, very accessible lovely walks in both directions and a nice cliff walk. Hotel grounds were well kept and we loved watching the colourful ibises on the lawns Check-in was great and very friendly The weather was a little cool in the evenings in March so the entertainment was inside. It wasn't great but we don't care about that Overall it's a great hotel there are a few cutbacks especially in staffing compared to 2021 but we loved it and hope to return again"

"A great hotel, one to visit at least once. The staff are very friendly, The rooms are kept clean. Towels replaced every other day. We upgraded when we got here, as wanted to be closer to the pool and sea view. Cost us 40 euros each. Food was always fresh and so much variety. Great got fish lovers. Variety of drinks and most of a high end label. Only saw a couple of singers in the main hotel lobby so cannot comment on the entertainment team as only saw them if they were in the restaurant areas eating. Location is fantastic, on a stunning beach. I will definitely return got some winter fun again. Cons.. just a couple.. The main food hall was so cold Especially close to the serving areas.. Their efforts to keep the plates warm were in vain. As you walk round to pick your food the cold air conditioning turns it Cold before you sit to eat it."
