Coral Cotillo Reef

"We had a 2 bedroom apartment with private pool. There is a bedroom, bathroom and living area with a kitchenette upstairs with access to the private pool. Downstairs there is a second bedroom with ensuite bathroom and if needed access to the car park. The room was brilliant for us with 2 teenagers, the downstairs bedroom also had a kitchenette in it so they could have their own snacks and drinks with them. The hotel was lovely and the food nice. The area isn't overrun with tourists and retains a more local feel. The only negative I would say was that the upstairs bedroom didn't have air conditioning, everywhere else did. I would definitely go back to this hotel."

"Nice room but due to 4 days with a major problem so far with our door key cards opening both the hotel compound gate and door to our hotel room . Which means we are currently constantly having to cross the road to the Sister hotels reception to have the cards reprogrammed and then walk back to test them which is taking upto 30mins each time to do . Only for the reprogrammed cards to fail again instantly on test or to fail again few hours later . We requested a different room several times to no avail as it is impacting on our holiday enjoyment and arrangements. It’s very disruptive to our holiday plans and basically very annoying , More so when we found out from other staff the whole hotel had a major problem with the door passes the week before . Think it’s Door key software needs looking at but that’s for hotel management to decide . Sorry but due to the lack of effort to move us rooms or fix the software for good , I can only award 2 stars given our experience ."
