"The hotel was lovely. The grounds and the pool were fantastic. Plenty of sun beds and space. The pool bar was great. The rooms were clean and the three beds comfy. The bathroom needs updating and there was a very big step up and over into the bath/shower. Rooms were cleaned daily. Maids were hard working but very nosiey quite early in the morning. Food was nice but as it was all inclusive it was a bit repetitive and sometimes very cold when it should have been hot. The bars were great, and the entertainment at night was bad but funny. We went for a week of nitty having to move and that's exactly what we did."

"It was 20 years ago when we first stayed at the Rio Calma and we were very happy to return. If anything, it was even better than the first time we stayed there. They say location is everything and it is certainly true for the Rio Calma. The unspoilt views of the ocean and the impressive hotel grounds offer calm and tranquility. The gorgeous gardens are a joy to explore and have become even more well established over the intervening decades. The hotel appears to have been very well maintained over the years and as good as new. Its easy to access from the main road and stands proudly on the coastline just outside Costa Calma. A unique hotel, like us you will never forget the first time you stay there and you will want to return. We were pleased to make use of the Spa and would like to thank Victoria particularly. Her knowledge and expertise was much appreciated."
