R2 Pajara Beach

"Locations is kind of in the middle of nowhere, not much to do around the hotel. Hotel is dated and in serious need of doing up. Huge water fountain in the middle is rusted. Hotel itself isn’t great if you have any disabilities as pool is very far away from hotel itself. Room is larger but again dated. Balcony is huge so that was a plus. Not amazing value, I’ve stayed in nicer hotels for the same price. Cleanliness could be better. Fuerteventura is naturally a windy island but that’s not an excuse to leave pool lounger tables and pool bar tables sticky from spilled drinks cups. Needs more staff walking around to clean up blown away items. Sun loungers and umbrellas could do with replacement, lots of stained umbrellas around. We booked one of the Bali beds and honestly the whole canopy was dirty and Velcro straps broken so everything was blowing freely in the wind. Food was not great at all. It wasn’t very appetising visual or by taste. We went for a week and by day 3 we both wanted to go somewhere else to eat. Very little cocktails on the all inclusive menu and all of them were from a machine with very little to no alcohol in them. Overall I wouldn’t go back and I honestly wouldn’t recommend. I don’t think the hotel should be 4 star, maybe 3 at a push."

"We always enjoy our frequent holidays at this lovely, friendly hotel. It is located directly onto the Sotavento beach, probably the best beach in Fuerteventura, in Costa Calma. The rooms have all been recently refurbished and the hotel offers AI stays with good food and drinks. Our favourite rooms are the Royal Suites but as not many of them not always possible to book but all rooms are large and comfortable with lovely bedding. There is good entertainment most evenings and a pleasant spa where you can receive treatments. Last time we used one of the Balinese beds in a lovely location overlooking the sea for a day, so very relaxing 😌 with complimentary fruit, chocolate and a chilled bottle of cava. This remains our favourite hotel and we are so looking forward to visiting again very soon. Thank you Pajara Beach hotel, ⛱️ . See you soon, our very best wishes Gill & Brian"

"Amazing hotel, we paid for sea view room which was well worth the extra money. View was stunning. Hotel and room were spotless and kept clean by the hardworking cleaners. Food was different most nights with themed nights and always something tasty for every taste. Breakfast had English sausages as well as bacon and different eggs made to order. Fantastic food every day with so much choice. Pool bar and cafe was also well stocked with breakfast, lunch and sandwiches in afternoon (even a bbq outside on one of the days). We also went out into the village and had an excellent steak di ner in mama mia's Italian restaurant (opposite the 2nd spa on the strip). Was able to buy yorkshire teabags in the hyperlink supermarket which made it even better. Gym facilities were superb with a exercise machine room and a separate weight room. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. We never had an issue getting a sunbed even at 14.30 in afternoon. Overall this is a fantastic hotel and we had an amazing stay. Highly recommend this hotel."
