"Returning there after over 10 years and rediscovering the emotions of back then ... is simply moving. The architectural aspect is always the same, a brilliant idea of the foundation, and the impact is strong: at the time, arriving at night with the moon within reach and the spherical white shapes barely illuminated thanks to the moonlight suggested a landing in space, somewhere. And this time, like back then, no one, even if in the early afternoon, and entering as if into a spaceship but in search of the reception, a note on a table: sorry, back soon. Well, we had arrived at our favorite place! Tranquility, peace, silence, a "slow pace," only the "clatter" of the suitcase wheels among the flowerbeds packed with strange, colorful flowers, and then the small entrance door, patio 1, patio 2, and finally the sphere opens up, revealing strange spaces, differently and curiously furnished, also thanks to the partial sphericity of the rooms, open everywhere to sunlight. But it is the bathroom that steals the gaze, everywhere covered in a blue mosaic of tiles in contrast with the large white Jacuzzi and the enormous porthole window that floods the sink mirrors with golden light. Of course, in 2026 all this might make one smile, or even not be to one's liking, but the condition in which it has been handed down is truly moving. And the rest is no less, the tranquility and peace of the place transpire everywhere: in the pool areas, in the spa, in the gym, in the entertainment areas, on the restaurant terraces, and, above all, in the mindful guests. International food and breakfast, but soberly offered. The alternation between buffet, à la carte dinner, and barbecue evening is excellent, effectively eliminating waste and useless redundancies. The ocean can be seen, in the distance, but it can wait."

"The hotel is located in the southern end of Costa Calma, which in itself is a very quiet resort. The rooms are quirky and yes, a little outdated, but we found our room to be in fairly good condition (301). We did have the 2nd bedroom pod. In that one, the shower did have a mind of its own and got the floor very wet. The main room was clean, and the aircon worked really well in the bedroom. The lounge room was really stuffy, and we didn't use it or need to. It had the fridge, a coffee machine (chargeable) and a kettle. There are also a few cups, plates and cutlery, which we managed to use to make our own sandwiches at lunchtime (on a budget). The grounds are well maintained, and on the whole it's very quiet (but we went outside of school holidays). There were always sunbeds available (no cushions on them). The pool was clean but very chilly, but nice for a few lengths to cool off. The breakfast has plenty of choice, and the egg station does make it - giving you the option for eggs how you like them. I would say that vegans would really struggle here and at the resort in general. The reception staff were friendly and helpful too. And there is a shower you can use after you have checked out in the Spa, which was fine, but it could do with a changing room too, as we had to use the toilet in there to get dressed. Overall, a good value stay for the price we paid."

"We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel at the end of September. Top-notch cleanliness, and the welcome as well. The breakfast didn't satisfy us much, but those are purely personal tastes, for our tastes obviously. Close to the sea and a few hundred meters from a corner with restaurants and supermarkets."
