Oasis of calm in Fuerteventura
Whether you’re planning a holiday with family, friends, or your other half, the Barcelo Corralejo Sands is a superb all-round option, combining a prime setting in the bustling port town of Corralejo (on Fuerteventura’s northern tip) with a variety of top class amenities designed for fun and relaxation.
Architecturally, it’s very much in keeping with the typical whitewashed, low rise buildings found across the island, creating a sense of authenticity that helps it blend nicely with its surroundings. The beaches in this part of Fuerteventura are renowned for their soft, pristine sand and beautifully clear water, and you’ll find several – such as Playa de los Verilitos and Playa de Corralejo Viejo – within 5-10 minutes’ walk.
When you’re not tanning yourself on the shores of the Atlantic, you’ve also got a large, lagoon-style outdoor pool on your doorstep, flanked by palm trees and plenty of sun loungers. There’s a separate paddling pool with a couple of small slides for little ones, too. A diverse choice of fresh, flavoursome dishes are served buffet-style at the main restaurant, while the poolside bar is the place to go for tasty burgers and sandwiches. Evenings here are best spent enjoying post-dinner drinks and live entertainment at the theatre bar, or heading into town to sample the buzzing local nightlife scene.

You might have heard that Corralejo is a quaint former fishing village – but there’s plenty of hustle and bustle in this vibrant town.
