Eurostars Las Salinas

"This was our 5th visit here and the first time we've felt disappointed. It really does make a difference what room you get. We usually get a premium room but they were all booked & when I requested one of the ones we usually stay in, overlooking the small pool they said it would be £50 per night extra. We've never paid extra before & over 14 days this would have been a lot more on top of what we'd already paid. We ended up with room 161 tucked away into a corner with no sunlight day or night. The rooms are cleaned to a high standard but this one was tired (a lot of the hotel is now) which let it down. We only go B&B as there are so many nice restaurants all within walking distance. The hotel is in an ideal location right on the beach but not sure if we would return. It really does depend on what room you get."

"Huge hotel, clean and spacious, pools lovely and in a nice calm and quiet spot ! Staff lovely and helpful . The rooms are clean and comfortable. BUT The food is very repetitive, veal , white fish and some sort of tuna dish every night ! The isn’t a great variety or theme to the food! Desserts are the same every meal time to . Breakfast is the best meal of the day ! The pool side bar offers snacks which again are the same everyday , burgers, hotdogs and chips! We decided to eat out several evenings as we got bored of the food. The entertainment if you can call it the is aweful and badly organised. It’s a shame as the hotel itself is in a perfect location ."

"Second visit to this hotel and unfortunately it has gone downhill. Location is amazing and the suites are spacious but needing a revamp as they are very tired. Air con basically non existent just a noisy fan. Food was acceptable but mostly the same every day and lukewarm. Entertainment poor and staff levels were low considering the size of the hotel. Cleaning standards in the public areas very poor and shabby. Definitely not a 4 star experience."
