"Lovely hotel this is our 4th visit but service levels have dropped due to not enough staff but the staff who are there do their very best. At our age and the price you pay you don’t expect to be queuing to get into dinner or to get a drink from the main bar in the evening. Also pre booked a sea view room in block 6 at additional cost but now the hotel next door has an entertainment stage right under our balcony that goes on until midnight very noisy do not book this block if you like peace and quiet."

"We booked this hotel as we have stayed in a couple of Barcelo hotels now and we have always had a good experience. The main reception and grounds of the hotel are lovely, really clean and the pool area is great. Staff are all friendly. The pool bar was lovely, we were premium all inclusive so the drinks options were good. Location is great. The food was average, it was edible but not great, the " a la carte" restaurants were just buffet items brought to your table. We upgraded to a whirlpool room which was a waste of money. It was too small to enjoy and was dirty. We have had whirlpool rooms in other Barcelo hotels which we have enjoyed but I wouldn't recommend these rooms. There was also a constant smell of sewage from our room (8032) as we were right by the drains so we could not even enjoy sitting on our terrace. The cleaning was very hit and miss in the rooms too. We had a baby with us so was using the bathroom bin for nappies, on 2 days this wasn't emptied so we had to take it outside and find a bin ourselves. Some days we got 2 water bottles in the room and others we only got 1. There was a cup we had used to dissolve some medicine in that just sat there for days. There are not enough sun beds with parasols or any shade, there are plenty of sun beds around the pool but the ones with any shade were always reserved by breakfast. It was our first holiday as a family so the hotel suited us for our needs but it wouldn't be a hotel we returned to."

"Just returned from 7 days half board at this hotel. The facilities look impressive, the Hotel is clean and the rooms modern and well equipped. The location is nice and in the middle of a bay which leads onto fantastic flat coast walks. We were always able to get a sunbed. The food in the main restaurant is awful. The breakfast is adequate but the same every day. The evening meal is the worst we have endured in a hotel for years. It was always cold or warm at best, there was never enough of it with items regularly 'finished'. My wife ate nothing but salads and a bit of cake. The all inclusive deal could be uprated so that you sat in a separate part of the area and had different food. It was obvious the Hotel were trying to get this additional income, push you towards the extra cost restaurants on site or hoped you ate out. On our last night, half way through the opening times, we were informed that three vegetable options and two meat options were 'finished' whilst there were fresh servings being taken to the all-inc Plus part in front of us. The Hotel does not warrant a TUI 4*+ rating with food like this."
