Ibersol Torremolinos Beach

"Now into my 4th morning of a most enjoyable relaxing one week holiday. What a difference from usual hotel holiday. I must give the hotel 10 out of 10 for the high standard of cleanliness as soon as you step into the hotel. And being greeted by the friendliness and knowledgeable staff. In the evening you won't be seeing the usual crowdy bar or noise, only a reserve atmosphere. Food at the hotel I can only give my opinion as I am only on Bed and Breakfast basis but you won't be spoilt for choice. Ì must state again the very high standards of cleanliness. The hotel is right across the from the beach. You will certainly enjoy your morning or evening stroll on the Promenade by the sea. I will be looking forward to enjoying the remainder of my week's holiday I have."

"We stayed between 27th Oct and 1st Nov. After 2 days one of our party came down with severe sickness 2 hrs after breakfast. The food just never seems hot enough. After reading several reviews it seems a common thing. Cockroaches around the pool area were another red flag for us. We didn’t choose to stay at this hotel but were changed by our tour operator a few days before and we definately will not be returning."

"This hotel was booked last minute on a half board basis... The hotel is clean and fresh and has a modern feel, although needs a little updating in the rooms.. Being low season, there is no entertainment and whilst the location is quiet there are no shops within a short walk.. Now too the more serious point, and one which I was hoping i didn't have to write... the quality and standard of the food is DIRE.. - we both experienced dodgy tummies during our stay and we observed flies on the uncovered food and I'm not sure how it is possible to make basic pasta look unreasonable to eat... We also noted the chips tasted odd, meaning the oil they fried them in is cross contaminated... We chatted to other guests who had spent several days bed ridden and when they raised it with the hotel they denied It was anything to do with their hotel, however said 'food poisoning was a common occurance in every hotel in Malaga'... Reviews at other hotels via Trip Advisor do not have complaints of food poisoning. We raised our concerns via the watsapp hotel messaging...... still waiting a reply... Both breakfast and dinner were poor... The pool area is okay but the pool is not heated and the pool bar isn't cheap, don't by the beer on tap, it's cheaper to get Heineken by the bottle... My advice (having stayed at many many hotels around the world) give this one a miss... Trip advisor removed my original post that says everything about this hotel."
