Hotel Fenix Torremolinos

"must be our the sixth stay at this hotel, always a pleasure to return ..if you want noisy kids and loud groups this isnt going to be the hotel for you... chill atmosphere , great friendly staff, lovely breakfast on the outside terrace with views over Torremolinos.."

"1 month prior to coming to hotel specifically asked for single large mattress. Got told that will get it by hotel personnel via email. On arrival hotel personnel told me that it’s impossible, that all rooms with king size beds are pushed together single beds and only mattress topper helps not to fall between. Actual mattress base is very unstable as well. Unacceptable, especially for the price range. Only location and personnel is great. The rest is very bad. Slow internet, unstable beds, AC very loud and high humidity in rooms with high settings, sound proof doesn’t exist, small and old TV. Ok the hotel can be 1980-90 stile, but for that price it definitely doesn’t have that should have"

"Enjoyed our 2 weeks at the Fenix hotel. Very comfortable bed, food varied and enjoyable and staff very helpful. As many have commented in reviews, the large beds around the pool area need removing to accommodate more loungers as some days not enough to go round. Also, more restaurant staff needed as some days tables not cleared quickly enough to accommodate other guests."
