"Super central, right off main square. We weren’t disturbed by noise, our room overlooked the pool. Beach a couple of mins walk down the hill. Nice beach bar there which was reasonably priced for food and drinks if you didn’t want to go back up the hill for lunch. Sea lovely and clear, beach clean but as we were there in August it was very busy. Hard to hire a lounger, we just bought a parasol and used that and paid 10 euros deposit per towel from the hotel that we could use at beach- you can exchange throughout your stay for clean ones. The room was ideal for 2 adults and 2 kids (1 bed apartment)- separate bedroom, kitchen area, living area with sofa bed and balcony. Large wardrobes and plenty suitcase storage too. Breakfast was fine, nothing fancy. Reception helpful and pleasant. Pool cleaned every day and didn’t see any sunbed drama from our balcony - didn’t open until 10 so can’t reserve beds. We didn’t use it as went to beach every day as was so close so don’t think pool gets overly busy as others doing that too. The bar attached was really busy at night (that’s where you have breakfast too) but service good and nice view out to sea. Several weddings when we were there but again no noise disturbance. Town itself was very busy due to time of year but great atmosphere; loads of bars and restaurants to choose from and majority were great. There were 8 of us so we tended to book a table. Would go back to this hotel as location so handy and it was exactly as described. The room was spacious and very clean. We used the hotel taxi to pick us up at Malaga airport and to take us back (85 euros each way and they accept cards) and as you can’t drive right up to the hotel as it’s pedestrianised, the driver walked us to the hotel from the drop off point and helped with the luggage (same on way back)."
