LIFE’S A BEACH AT MIJAS COSTA

Nestled between Marbella and Fuengirola, Mijas Costa is a stunning coastal area showcasing all the beauty and charm of Spain’s Costa Del Sol. Mijas Costa is the area that runs along the coast from Cabopino in the west to Fuengirola in the east, and with its golden sandy beaches, azure waters, and a backdrop of picturesque mountains, it offers a serene escape if you’re seeking both relaxation and adventure.

Set out and find a spot on pristine sandy beaches such as Playa de Calahonda or Playa El Bombo, where you can soak up the sun and take refreshing dips in the sea. Along this stretch of coast, the boardwalks are lined with charming chiringuitos (beach bars) serving delicious seafood tapas and refreshing sangria, perfect for a Spanish seaside lunch.

Make time to explore the cultural heritage of Mijas Pueblo, a traditional Andalusian village just a short drive away. Wander through its narrow, whitewashed streets adorned with pretty bougainvillaea, visit the charming chapel of Virgen de la Peña, and enjoy the panoramic views from the hillside. Evenings in Mijas Costa are best spent dining at one of the many seaside restaurants, where you can savour typical Spanish cuisine while watching the sun set over the Mediterranean. Whether you’re craving some much-needed relaxation or an adventure, the Mijas Costa area makes for an unforgettable experience on the Costa Del Sol.
