"Conveniently located in heart of tourist district in Malaga. Lots of restaurants. Clean. 432€ for 3 nights - so moderate price. Breakfast was going to be some added fee nearing $20 each - we declined. I guess I was expecting a full hotel experience when I booked it. But found out “boutique” means cramped with minimal amenities and only part-time desk staff. Room was too small for 2 senior adults for 3 days. Husband was experiencing a surprise back issue and needed room to walk during sleepless bouts - there was nothing like this in the tiny room and hotel. Extremely small and poorly lit bathroom. Very noisy, on 1st floor overlooking a busy bar/restaurant. Room smelled of cloying cleaning solvents. Opened window for some fresh air and flies swarmed in along with the roar of the restaurant crowd.
Desk staff was pretty indifferent. Said there were no alternative rooms.
I admit we have been spoiled by more luxurious accommodations.
I think it had a tea kettle but no coffee service, no refrigerator, no sitting area - you are stuck on the bed whenever in the room. A very small desk/table and chair. We went for lunch, talked it over, reserved someplace bigger, and split. Of course no partial refund. Desk staff told me I should have been able to tell what it was like when I booked it. Learned my lesson. Recommended if you are young, don’t plan to spend much time in the room, are immune to noise, don’t want to spend much $ and aren’t looking for any amenities or hotel services."
