"We came from Conil to spend our last day here. Way too expensive for what it is. The hallways smelled musty. And the service was substandard. After checking in, we wanted to have a drink on the hotel terrace (which really wasn't big). It took 20 minutes for the waiter to finally come to our table. Apparently, he still had to go pick the grapes, because we had to wait another 20 minutes for 2 glasses of wine. And for the breakfast that we had paid extra for, we had to make a reservation."

"Our final two nights of our trip were spent here and we enjoyed it. We arrived very early not expecting to be able to check in, but as our room was available, we were allowed to check in early. The room was on the fourth floor with its own balcony that afforded an outstanding view of the port and city. Complimentary bottled water was provided and a pot for boiling water was in the room. There were plenty of parking places in front of the hotel as well as EV charging points. On busy nights parking might fill up. Rather than drive into town or walk up and down the hill, we took the very convenient local bus. The bus stop was about 150 yards from the hotel entrance. Breakfast was standard for a parador with plenty of options to choose from. The breakfast staff were constantly busy seating people, refilling the buffet, delivering food, or cleaning. However, when entering the sign says please wait to be seated. Our first morning we waited 5 minutes before getting someone’s attention who then said sit anywhere. That’s what the sign should say, and when finally noticed, one could provide their room number. Then there’s the cafeteria service. We ate at it our last night and it seems that because we were around the corner on the side, nobody noticed us. It was a chore to get somebody’s attention and overall three different people attended to us. The food was fine and after eating we asked for the dessert menu. Ten minutes later it arrived, but nobody ever returned to see if we wanted anything. Eventually, I got a waitress’s attention through a window to get the bill. She was attending to someone on the front side of the cafeteria. It was brought out by a fourth person. The food was fine, but the service was lacking."

"View only. We made dinner reservations for our group. The appetizers were good but all 10 main course were horrible. Not worth it. If you want to go see it just order drinks and appetizers to enjoy the view. Will not return"
