Hotel Don Curro

"The location is the Hotel’s selling point, it’s perfect. We stayed on room only basis. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Our room, 511, was on the small side but apparently other rooms were not as good based on reviews I’ve read. Multiple steps to get to reception, not suitable if you have mobility issue. No foyer to speak of. Reception staff need to realise they are working in the tourism industry and that guests need to feel welcome. No “welcome to the Hotel”. Or “hope you enjoyed your stay with us” Only consider booking this hotel if the rate is very competitive."

"The hotel is ideally located, just around the corner from the cathedral, with plenty of restaurants nearby. Most places can easily be reached on foot, and María Zambrano train station is about a 20-minute walk away. Our room on the fifth floor was spacious and clean, with a fairly large bathroom that made our stay even more comfortable. Overall, a very pleasant stay in a fantastic location, perfect for exploring the city on foot."

"We just stayed here one night as we were returning home from the airport the next day. Perfect location, beautiful room spotlessly clean and the service from staff was 5 star. An addition in the room as an improvement and it would be an easy fix. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. I realise this isn’t standard abroad but it makes a big difference to us, although perhaps it isn’t a big deal to everyone. Breakfast could do with a bit of an upgrade very little fruit options also the coffee from the machine was not great. I don’t eat the hot breakfast so I cannot comment on that, the pastries were nice. Thank you for a very pleasant convenient stay."
