"This hotel is in a very convenient location just a few yards from the station for the train from the airport. The historic centre is within walking distance – or you can catch the #1 or #3 bus. There are numerous bars, restaurants and shops close by and the Corte Ingles department store is about 300 metres away.
We took a junior suite which gave us a bedroom, a separate lounge and a bathroom. All are generously sized. The bedroom has plenty of storage – and plenty of coat hangers. The bed is comfortable. The bedroom also has a safe and a minibar. The bathroom has a bathtub with a shower and a separate shower, plus two wash basins. All was kept very clean. The lounge has a settee and an easy chair plus a coffee table. There was a Nespresso machine with pods in the lounge and a kettle with tea bags in bedroom. You'll have to supply your own milk, but there are a MAS supermarket and a Carrefour Express nearby. We arrived late but managed to get milk in the Carrefour Express which is open every day until 1:00am. Our room was very quiet. The weather was cold and wet but the aircon worked well in heat mode. There are TVs in the lounge and bedroom with mainly Spanish stations although you can watch the news in English or French.
Reception staff are helpful and polite and speak good English. There are two lounge areas with plenty of seating. One lounge has complimentary tea and coffee – although no milk for the tea.
The breakfast room is large and has a varied buffet. Hot food is bacon, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, baked beans and little sausages. There is a selection of fresh fruit, cereals, cold cuts and cheese along with tomatoes, cucumber, raw carrot and beans. There are also plenty of cakes and croissants, a selection of bread and rolls and the means to toast them. Coffee is from a machine although dairy and non-dairy milks plus a microwave oven are available. I did manage to make porridge one morning using the supplied oats and the microwave – although it does tend to get a bit crowded at that part of the servery.
The hotel doesn't supply other meals but just around the corner are restaurants and tapas bars. Book in advance if you want to eat at the weekend or on Friday night."
